A rod has a no trade clause. So if he was wanting to be traded, which he says he does not, he would probably go to the team where Lou Pinella will coach. Lou was A rod's biggest mentor while in Seattle and gave him support when he went to the yankees.Outside info leads Lou managing the cubs. So if A rod were to waive his no trade clause it would be to the cubs.

First of all he holds the power when it comes to any trade via his contract. Like you I'm not sure it would happen but if it did I think he would want to go to Philadelphia. A young team in a new ballpark. A great core of players in Rollins, Utley and Howard. And the new Citizens Park is a launching pad when it comes to home runs. (Beautiful ballpark), All they need is a couple of good starting pitchers and the Phillies can make a run for the pennant. The other teams you've listed don't show me that kind of potential. Good question.

Gorgie how r the mets choking if they evened up the series with their 2 top starting pitchers out for their postseason roster. As for ur question I think the best move would be to stay in the Yanks. A-Rod needs at least 1 ring to solidify his career. Cmon u cant name another team who u know is gonna win their division for the next five years.

In the unlikely event that the Yankees traded A-Rod I bet it would be out of the American League, they do not want to play against him. Therefore out of your picks I would say San Fran, but I would hope not, better San Diego or LA.

Atlanta- He should go to Atlanta. A national league team in the south where he seemed to play best. A team in need of a new star. They won't spend the money, and he wouldn't be a genious for going there. But I would like to see him in a place where fans love their players. Not a braves fan by the way.

I think San Francisco makes the most sense. The Giants are looking to get younger and have a new player to build their team around. Peter Magowan will spend the money to win.

Phillies could be a fit - if they put him at 3rd, but they will never spend the money.

I think he is going to Kansas City Royals for Mike Sweeney &
Zach Greinke. Really it is highly unlikely that he is going anywhere and the Royals couldn't afford him since they are the
worst team in AL

I think the Nationals with his buddy Sorianno would be the best place. Although, the Phillies look good too.

I would say Dodgers. Definately not an AL team. But he is not leaving the Yankees.
