If there was a food shortage in the world and everyone got to pick 1 vegetable to live with for the rest of their life, it would definitely be the tomato. Versitile, it would be hard to fix a lot of dishes if not for the tomato. OOOPS! My bad. The tomato is really a fruit. Honest.

I like cherry tomatoes, but not normal ones.
Cherry tomatoes are sweeter and nicer. I don't like tomato sauce either, but I don't mind the tomato on pizza....
Here in Spain, there is one town which has a festival called "La Tomatina", where they literally just throw thousands of kilos of tomatos at each other for hours - nuts, but fun!!

Don't trust em AT ALL..
Or strawberries, or basically any fruit or vegetable that requires my own digestive system to spread their seeds...It just seems like an insidious way of evolving and spreading
I like tomato sauce on pizzas and things, but refuse to eat the pips or seeds - this is like a religious principle for me to live my life by.

Yes, but my daughter loves them like crazy! She will eat bowl after bowl of cherry or grape tomatoes in one sitting. And she throws a fit if anyone should get near that bowl. It's so crazy its funny!!

Yes, I do but some people are allergic to it and some are allergic to fresh tomato but can tolerate it in cooking.
My favorite way is raw, cut into quarters or sliced and sprinkled with salt, fresh ground pepper and balsamic vinegar, perhaps also with some raw onion mixed in.
