We have an natural oak table. When we bought this table a year ago it had a lovely sheen on it which has since come off due to being wiped daily. What should we put on it to restore that sheen - would it be a wax or an oil and how do you apply it and how often.

Plz suggest me some tips like : what type of paints I should use, what I'll use to draw pencil or charcoal. Should I make it multicolor or uni/bi-color?

I am facing a peculiar and annoying problem from a few days. Whenever, I open a folder placed on the desktop of my computer, I find another folder with the same name in that folder. For example, if I open a folder named as July, 2006, I would find that there is folder with the name July, 2006. When I click on this folder found within, I find that it contains the files present in My Document.

I have tried to solve this problem but could not get the success. How can I get rid of this nuisance, which is causing a great deal of inconvenience?

I downloaded AdAware-Alert, and ran a scan, and now I get this message, "A buffer overrun was detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

Apparently, some people are putting stickers on Campaign placards identifying republican candidates as......you guessed it, Republican. Now there are no obscenities or anything like that, just the identifyer that they are Republican. Republicans are "blaming" Democrats. Democrats are blaming republicans.

Why are Republicans keeping their party affiliations off their campaign ads? Has that become a dirty word?

Come on liberals, you can spin this a bad way, I have faith in you.

About 15,000 hurricane evacuee families threatened with potential homelessness in Houston will continue to receive federal housing assistance through February, officials said Thursday.

(My bigger question is why are these people still needing assistance, they have had more than enough time to stand up, get a job and move on with life. I say give them til February, then send them to tent camps in death valley.)
