Television proves only one thing: there are people who are so naive that they will believe what they see on television.

Clicked on your shortcut and verses 28 - 44 seem to be something about a horse. Don't see the connection. Lots of prophets have said things that came true, why aren't you a follower of Nostradamus for instance? Anyway, what if it did come true, most major cities of that time were overthrown by the Romans. I don't think it takes much imagination to suggest Jerusalem would be and the bible was written and edited centuries after the event; the historical details could have been filled in at any point. Sorry not convinced.

How can it be a historical recording written before the event? Surely that makes it a prediction? So it came true. Let me think....... to make a prediction that a war like nation will attack somewhere, you've got a good chance of getting it right.
I predict that the United States of America will wage war on Iran within the next 5 years. If this comes true, does it prove that I can predict the future or have some direct link to god? No, it proves that I have, at the very least, a crude grasp of world politics.
I'm constantly amazed by how people will see only what they want to see! The world would be a more harmonious place if people could just open their eyes a bit wider.

This passage definitly sounds like the sacking of Jerusalem. But it could also describe the massacre at Massada, which happened a little before before. Massada is a hill fort, and so some Jews who were being pursued fled into it and defended themselves. The Roman legion attacking them then built a ramp of earth (which is still there!) up to the fort and attacked. Accounts vary, but many of the inhabitants were either killed or committed suicide to escape. The fort itself was destroyed.

Some of these airheads who are always asking for proof of Gods' existence just deny things straight out without even checking to see if it could be true because they really don't want to know that there really is a God in heaven, and that they will eventually have to answer to him. Even during the Great Tribulation with all the devastation going on, they will still be cursing God. So as God told Jeremiah, "Be not afraid of their faces;" We are to just tell them so they can't plead they weren't told.

No offence but those verses aren't anything to do with that, unless as a very vague comment of 'if the city gets taken over its cos god wants it to be'
AD is Anno Domini, though a better usage is CE or common era, as only a part of the world's population believe in the 'Lord'.

You may want to check the dates. Some scholars do say Luke, a follower of Paul, wrote it around the 60's... others say it wasn't written till after 70 ad, after the Temple was destroyed. Though, it's my understanding that the book of Mark is the older of the Gospels, I believe they still place that book around 70 ad. Though some of Pauls writings are before 70 ad, they seem to be general writings about the information that was going around. Hence the need to write to specific churches.

What channel was that on?
True, the Bible is a historical record of past events, but, like all history books, it does conatin errors, and had ommitted many things. I also believe it has false things added. So, therefore, the Bible is not unlike a high school history book.

ya know, it takes some truth to make a lie credible
if you keep taking the stance of searching for grains of truth in lies you will be successfull
if you change your view and look for consistency all the way around you will find the bible to disprove itself
thank Moses, Abraham and Paul for their influence and editing, and muddling up former religions like Zoroastrianism-Abrahm, Egyptology (Tut Moses was a prince) roman and Greek mythology/gnosticism-Paul with his false claims of being trained a Pharisee-it's a lifetime commitment starting from a youth not the result of a 'change of heart conversion' and then go study under Gamaliel (the elite of the elite and privileged) not to mention go from working as a policeman under High Priest (Sadducees) to advocater of Gentile freedoms -Acts 15 and 21 then be found in Acts 21 to be still doing rituals he himself tells others is not necessary

LOL. Poor thing, looking for proof that isn't there. Many of those cities have been defeated, resurected and defeated again. Silly, silly girl.
