download is to get somthing to your computer from net, and upload is to transfer file to net , you Question is actually uploaded by you and the answer are uploaded by us. if you copy these answers to your computer will be called download..

Can't say I'm really a pro in that field, but I'd say that I download FROM a site and I upload TO a site or an other computer ???

Download is something you are taking and saving to your computer. Upload is something going from your PC to elsewhere.

when you download stuff you download it off the internet, but when you upload, you are uploading information from your pc onto the internet
