A Crying Pregnant Blonde

There were three women sitting in a doctor's office,
a blond, a brunette, and a red-head. They were all pregnant.

"I'm having a boy because I was on the bottom," said
the brunette.

"Well, I'm having a girl because I was on top," said
the red-head.

All of a sudden the blond started crying. They asked
her what was wrong. "I'm having puppies," exclaimed the blond.

3. for what value(s) of k is the line 2x = 3y + k a tangent to the parabola y = x squared - 3x + 4?

I know that i have got to equate the two solutions as they both are equal to y. After solving that, i got a quadratic equation. Using the equation I substituted it into the discriminant (b squared - 4ac = 0). I got the the value of k as -23. But according to the text book im using it says, the correct answer to this question is -23/12. I dont knw where that 12 comes from. Could you please show me how with clear and detailed steps??

Contrary to most of the Christians in this forum who bash atheists. In my personal opinion an atheist should be praised because he denies believing in things "blindly". This doesn't imply that atheists _have_ to see God in order to be able to believe in Him. An atheist has a much more logical approach and an open heart, he/she is quite open to all the suggestions and atleast considers them. Moreover, they gain knowledge to defend themselves whereas a chrisitian or a muslim would be happy with less knowledge and just stick to their beliefs without trying to verify things by delving into the details.

I myself am a Muslim and I have a recommendation for atheists, considering that they are able to defend themselves with logical arguments.

I present to you Dr. Jeffrey Lang, a PhD in Mathematics, teaching at the University of Kansas, USA. A born christian, he became an atheist because of lots of doubts and then after some research turned muslim. Please read his book titled Even Angels Ask.

Well done for daring to publish the article today. Though never having been a big fan of Mr Jack Straw, I must applaud him for his comments that represent the vast majority of his constituents. The backlash from this will be huge. I, as many others feel personal insulted when I see a Muslim women veiled in the way that they are. It is in insult to MY way of life, MY country, MY traditions, MY religion and most of all to members of MY family who died to keep this country free from, fanatical, ill-informed, indoctrinated, misguided and brain-washed individuals, who also happened to dress in black.
If I decided to become a devout Christian and decided to walk around Blackburn in a peaked hat with 2 slits for eyes, as they do in Seville, Spain during semana santa, I would be arrested, for racism.
Why are these people here? Is it for the warm inviting climate? Or the welcoming bars or the great and many varied ways we can prepare pork or maybe or scantly clad females and open mindedness of the locals. Maybe not. So why do you come to a country where everything you resent is forefront? Or maybe WE have got it all wrong. If you want to be a topless model, choose Tehran to launch your career, thinking of opening a surfing school?..... has to be the Dead Sea, watch wild wilder beast roaming the plains?.. has to be Iceland. These people chose to live here. By doing so they wanted to live our lifestyle. They have blatantly failed to do that. They have insulted it and disrespected it. In doing so they have also jeopardized the reputation and integrity of the majority of Muslims who can live within the community, practise their religion and mutually share their culture to the benefit of all. We refuse to accept the KKK way of dressing, why should we accept theirs.
If this is such a respectfull and caring religion the first thing you would do is respect the environment you live in and consider the feelings of those around you. Many will cry but we are British, we have British passports, but as the old saying goes....if a dog is born in a stable does it become a horse.?.....yes.. but only when it starts behaving like a horse. if not, well............
Loose the veil or try the USA where no veils are EVER EVER visible. Wonder why

What is a dream walker? Is it a entity that feeds off you or encourages you. For the last 4 months alot of wonderful doors have opened for me, and also alot of internal revelations. I have been writing a book about such but on mass level. I wake up everyday and find myself talking to something that i know is there but I cant see it. Lately in my dreams I feel like I am slipping away, and I become frightened by it and wake myself up. Im tired and drained all the time. I work 7 days a week, and the only time my mind stops is when I am doing massage. I go into the void but echo out the thoughts of who I am massaging. Someone said they thought I had a dreamwalker with me, is it that or is it another force guiding me?
