in april next year i am going walking in morocco. i am going for just over a week, and the main climax of the activity is to climb the 4167metre high Jebel Toubkal, the highest mountain in north africa, in boiling heat, while still only being 13. can anyone give me a list of some of the things that i will need to take. would really appreciate it. if all goes well i want to climb kilamanjaro with my dad by the time i am 15, and climb everest by the time i am 20. you see i have a bet on with my little sister that i will climb everest in my life, and that is one of my ambitions. so far i have got on my list:

boots
blister plaster
blister cream
socks, breathable.

lol, thats all i have got at the minute. i know i willl need a sleeping bag, and no we are not climbing the mountain ranges over night, we are going back to the town, Aremd, and sleeping on the roof under the stars. what else do i need (even the obvious) and how much will a very good one of those cost? thanks in advance

Im not saying everyone but alot of ppl they dont want cubans to come over here no more we usually stay in Miami so why does it bother some people. Some people hate that so many latins are making some states bilingual yea its true but cuba is in bad conditions we dont want to stay there. Lets just say I only have 2 or 3 friends that are american. All my friends are from latin countrys. So I just want to know why it bugs some people Ive always thought it was because the majority of latin women are alot more beutiful than americans so let me know thanks.

I need financial help. I prepared for one thing and it has been a snowball effect. First child support stops, then sick child, medical expenses, over 200 in medication, private school, windshield cracked from one side to another. I have raised my credit record from 505 to 585 in only a year of being divorced. I can't see all that work go to pot. How am I going to fix my windshield? how am I going to go to mayo for my son at the end of the month? Do you know any organizations to help? I am nonstate aid and the last thing done by child support recovery was Sept. 9 and that was only a try to locate. I gave them a number and an address!! My son fell ill when public school was constantly feeding him stuff he could not have. He's allergies where on the prescreening. I also sent all his food. That is why he is in private (which is going great!!!) now. THat meant new supplies, uniforms and tuition. Can anyone help?

Okay we all know how insular and paranoid the states have become ( with good reason) and they'd probably feel more comfortable now with the "security" of their OWN internet that only americans can use ( maybe like internet 2?) ....It would save them having to confront , and cope with, ideas and philosphies that differ from their own. They'd feel more "comfortable".

And it works BOTH ways. I use google.co.uk and yahoo.co.uk but every time I do a search I end up looking at inappropriate, mis-spelled, illiterate american sites. I'm sure the rest of world would be happier if the internet - a British invention -had some sort of huge firewall installed?

The United States of America, for the time being, controls the world. So does it not seem bizarre that the government of the world is chosen by a tiny proportion of its inhabitants? If Europe could vote in America's election, for example, would we not have a far more understanding, global leadership?

A friend of mine is 33 years old - average fitness level - hasn't played racketball in at least 10 years and, when he did, he never played it more than 1 or 2 times a year.

He works with a man who just turned 50. He plays racketball 3 times per week for the last 22 years.

They have made a wager -- they will play a 15-point game. In order for my friend to win the bet, he must score at least 5 points in the game.

Personally - with this sort of experience level - I don't see how my friend is going to score ANY points let alone 5. I'm thinking I should definitely put some money on this & bet against my friend.

Your thoughts?

I want to upgrade a computer with some used RAM chips, I don't plan to keep this computer for long.

I'm wondering, if a RAM chip fails, what is the worst thing that can happen to your computer or your data on the hard drive?

Everyone else has special holidays...Christian, gays, skinheads....every group that makes themselves stand out, trying to show their individuality---even Kwanza is a made-up celebration!!!
So what's the holiday for regular, heterosexual, non-fundamentalist of any kind, not wanting to have the spotlight type of folks?
No offense intended---it just seems so silly....

The book, "Tempting Faith,", Author David Kuo's conservative Christian credentials are impeccable; his resume sprinkled with names like Bennett and Ashcroft. Now, as the Foley cover-up has many evangelical Christians wondering whether the G.O.P. is really in sync with their values, "Tempting Faith" provides the answer: No way. Kuo, citing one example after another of a White House that repeatedly uses evangelical Christians for their votes--while consistently giving them nothing in return; A White House which routinely speaks of the nation's most famous evangelical leaders behind their backs, with contempt and derision. Kuo's bottom line: the Bush White House is playing millions of American Christians for suckers. According to Kuo, Karl Rove's office referred to evangelical leaders as 'the nuts.'
Kuo says, 'National Christian leaders received hugs & smiles in person and then were dismissed behind their backs & described as 'ridiculous,' 'out of control,' 'just plain goofy'
