Either your monitor is turned sideways, or the video properties have it turned 90 degrees. You should have an icon near your clock that has to do with your graphics...double click it and check the preferences...that's how I can do it on mine.

Did you look at the Display by right clicking the desktop and selecting Properties? You can change the screen through Advance. In some new computer, they have a Nvidea software that allow you to rotates the screen 90 degree. You might want to look for that and to change the view through Rotate option. It called NVrotate in the Nvidea panel.

When you find the screen rotation option described by Ki M and Mbjunkie and have turned it back, you'll probably also have a checkbox in these settings to disable screen rotation - clear this and it won't happen again.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think that there may be about 2 or more buttons on the front of your monitor. One of these should bring up a settings menu. You should be able to adjust the settings from there. Hope this helps?

I have done this in the past, after my kids were on mine, now they know best. Press all at these at the same time, you need long fingers!
Ctr + Alt + Space bar + m, while holding these press arrow keys.
I used 3 fingers on left hand and 2 on right.
I guarantee this will work have just tried it.

YOu need to hold down ctrl and press the arrow keys until it turns the right way up again. My sisters kids did this to her, took us days to figure it out.
