Everyone else has special holidays...Christian, gays, skinheads....every group that makes themselves stand out, trying to show their individuality---even Kwanza is a made-up celebration!!!
So what's the holiday for regular, heterosexual, non-fundamentalist of any kind, not wanting to have the spotlight type of folks?
No offense intended---it just seems so silly....

LMAO!!!
What fabulous answers! Thanks for answering in the same spirit in which I asked...
Ummm,OK---except for the one who said I'm "bitter". :-)

I proclaim tomorrow, "I have nothing to make me special" day! :-) :-)
Well, maybe not tomorrow. How about Saturday? (Tomorrow is my birthday, so that's special!)

Get a grip, you psycho...
How bout articles & data re: women who are abused by their husbands for 10+ years, & finally get the nerve to leave. Or about people who are widowed at an early age, for no justifiable reason. Or about women who can't conceive children, while other children are shooting kids out in bathroom stalls at prom.
You wanna get all serious & spout a bunch of crap---well, then I can spout it all right back at ya, & even top you, I'd bet. Oh, but then maybe I can't---you don't have a link for anyone to e-mail you! LOL!!!
This was a very "tongue-in-cheek" kind of question. I don't want your, or anyone's sympathy.
Go prove your divinity on someone else's space....

I'm a Christian Hetero, can I rant too?

I don't have any holidays either. Christmas you say? Christmas is when Santa cleans out his workshop and drops all his junk off at my house for my kids so his work shop isn't cluttered anymore from all those dysfunctional, workaholic elves that he's taken in. So I have to pick up that stuff all year.

Easter? Easter is the breeding day for the crossbred chicken-rabbit. He only spawns once a year and doesn't realize that he's never going to have any offspring because he's a mutant that lays pre-boiled eggs. I like the chocolate bribes that he leaves for us to "take care" of his eggs for him though.

I'd love to see a holiday just for hetero, white, nobodies like me. St, Patrick's Day is as close as we get. Maybe if we get a pretty flag of our own, we'll get some attention too.

No offense intended to anyone else either, but you're right. It is silly.

Show me a news article about four gay guys beating a man to death for being straight...

Show me reputable journal articles about well-conducted studies concluding that heterosexual teens are more likely to commit suicide than gay teens...

Show me a single friggin' workplace that denies healthcare benefits to married couples but allows them for same-sex domestic partners...

...and then maybe I'll consider having a little sympathy for you and your lack of holidays. You have no right to ***** until there is true and honest equality in this country.
