No. Things in the Bible are not to be taken literally. There are innumerable commentators on the Bible dating back to the the first centuries CE, and countless others which have not been recorded.

Remember, the sun and moon were not created until the fourth day, so what time was there until then? Keep in mind that a day for humans is not the same as a day for G-d.

Ecclesiastes 10:20
Do not revile the king even in your thoughts, or curse the rich in your bedroom, because a bird of the air may carry your words, and a bird on the wing may report what you say.

You certainly are clueless! God Rested on the 7th day, because he comes from New York and it's illegal there to work more than 6 days in a row!

I beleive the Heavens and Earth only took 4 days. Animals one extra day, man another extra day, woman...

Well...

God is still working on that. She keeps complaining about various parts of her anatomy and he keeps trying to appease her, but it's darn hard to do!

What a silly question....who or what was supposed to have created God? Where did He get all the energy to make a whole universe...his back pocket? Even if he did have all the energy handy...how did He figure out what He was supposed to do...Universe making for Dummies? That's just the whole thing right there ....some things are just unknowable...like all the numbers of pi....so God is absurd.

Yes, and here is why...

It's in the Bible, 2 Peter 3:8-9, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

and in...

2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

and in...

Psalm 14:1 "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."

Yes, I believe the Bible; one last note

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

May I suggest that you find a church to attend, ask for a Bible, and search for the answers yourself. God will show you the rest.
Bless you and God's Speed brother.

There is clear evidence that "yom," the Hebrew word translated "day" in Genesis 1 can mean longer periods of time. The description was not intended to be a scientific description of creation, but a theological one.

The god's "day" is not similar to the days on Earth. There is an explanation for that in the Holy Quran.
