I realize that it is the parent who usually takes away the child's credit card, but my mom has had some bad luck with credit when she was young and so she was unable to be approved for one. But she has had some minor health problems, so when she turned 50 I felt that since she wanted to still be able to do as much as she could on her own, she should at least have one credit card on her in case of emergencies. So when I applied for one through my bank, I got her, her own. I told her that it was mostly for emergenies, but that if she wanted to use it for gas or small groceries she could do that if she didn't have enough cash, or didn't want to write a check. I personally have another card I use, but I always pay in off at the end of the month. And my mom has always been frugal with money and I expected she wouldn't even use it. But she did. She told me that she was doing okay and that she is paying on it. Now it is past max, $800! My question, how do I, at 20, take away my mom's card?

i have an old, pre-calculator, device called an Arithma. At the bottom is says Addiator and Made in Germany. It's an adding/subtracting tool. there are 6 columns in one color, then two in another color to the right of those, and numbers 9-0 along the sides of each column. There are 2 sections of these, with one labeled Addition and the other Subtraction. There is a slender stick that fits in slots next to each number and moves the column. between the top section and the bottom section there are 6 holes, and the numbers change in those as the column are moved. i have tried to work it, but i guess i am moving the wrong columns, as the totals in the 6 holes are not what i expect them to be.
