they help our economy they take jobs lazy americans wont take. I dont think a white person would want to be working in a feild picking fruits or vegetables. but these people are willing to do what ever it takes to have a beter life, to have a little exrta money in there pockests. some person that answered your question said that they take jobs of students......no student would want to work as a maid, feilds, or in a hotel. those students should just get off theier a** go to school and get a job. they were lucky enaugh to be born in the united states. thank God i was born here thank God i have the chance to have a better live....and im living that better life that those people wish they had. and for that i am very thankful

There is no advantage to having illegals breaking our laws by crossing our borders illegally . By doing that they can't be checked for disease that they bring into this country or drugs that are smuggle in .
I can't think of any advantage to illegals being in America . It hurts hard working American People in every way .
If these people want to migrate to America then do it legally and become American Citizens .
Don't break the laws

Anyone, that knows, me knows that Im not a Cold-hearted wicked person and let me just say that it is a shame how terrible the illegals are being exploited by the people who are hiring them but I dont see no advantages in illegal immigration we have people who are born and raise here in the United States who are unemployed, hungry, and homeless alot of them through no fault of their own to contine to let immigrants come here illegally and give amestry and a quest worker program to then where it is going to put us in a predictment where we are going to take from Peter to give to Paul is very stupied

Disadvantages: they pack our county hospitals and get fee medical, and which makes the LEGAL immigrants etc, have to wait over night if not longer for emergency situations. Our taxes are supporting THEM. While they just suck us dry!

They get all the jobs that our teens used to be able to get aka McDonalds, because they are over crowded by illegals who can barely speak english. Leaving Teens to find OTHER ways to help pay for things...There is a REASON why they are called...ILLEGALS? duh. I would rather pay more for produce products than for them to get to do OUR jobs for a small amount of money. Taking what would be a good job for Americans.

There is no advantages. They are a drain on our economy and resources. As far as saying they do jobs lazy americans don't do...it's not that at all, we are not ABLE to do them because they are TAKEN by illegals!!!!!!!

there is no advantage to someone coming illegally into the country...they bring disease, they push down wages and take jobs from people who need them...they also do not contribute to the economy as they pay little taxes(or no taxes-being paid under table) and most of the money is sent back to mexico...u would think by now mexico would be a thriving country....lol

I think they are criminals if they came here illegally. If they want to be citizens they must go through the proper channels. If I wanted to move to any other country I would have to file paperwork and do it properly not sneak in and then demand the new country's people learn my language and cater to my tastes.

The reason Americans don't want to do the jobs that pay so little is because the pay STAYS so little because illegals are willing to work for it. Minimum wage hasn't increased in what, 10 years? Are you paying for gas what you paid 10 years ago?

Sure they pay sales tax when they buy things here but you know what, so do I, and I also have to pay property taxes and income taxes. I have to pay for health insurance but my tax money pays for their health care because emergency rooms can't turn them down. The schools have to teach the children who are now US citizens just because they were squatted out here but who is paying for the teachers? Not to mention the transportation systems and other infrastructures required for an exploding population.

If you want to come here I have nothing against that but DO IT LEGALLY and do what the rest of the AMERICANS who live here have to do.

We keep going over this and over this, and I'm not sure anyone is listening.

My own opinion is that we should make it very easy for them to become legal. These are people who are doing real work here, and usually not being paid fairly, often not having any medical benefits or vacation or sick days. We simply don't have enough native born population willing to do these low-end jobs, and so we need people who are willing to take those rather than have no job at all.

One thing that we need to keep in mind is that their children are likely born here, and are citizens. So when they go to vote, they are going to notice how well each party has treated their parents and grandparents, their uncles and aunts, who are not citizens. Call them illegal, but the fact is they are here, and they are important to their families and, as I say, some part of their family votes. Think about that.

WE NEED THEM!!! Half of you guys would not be living the lives you do with out them. Most of you are just spoiled brats and have had everything handed to you. And might I say Ignorant, there are a lot of jobs that have to be filled to make America stay the biggest economy in the world. Get real people, they are just living and trying to do the best that they can for their families. It is a shame that half of you guys are even saying those things. It sickens me to be a white person, the way half of you guys represent our race.

The illegal aliens take jobs away from students and the poor. The only advantage is the police officers job is no longer boring.

The advantages is for American businesses and corporations who hire them and secretly want them here. If they really wanted to end illegal immigration they would have a long time ago, like they did immigration from Cuba. But the gov't and American businesses secretly want illegals here, because they can pay them lower wages and they usually work longer and harder than the average American. Also, they make great scapegoats come election time for sneaky politicians especially Republicans to get votes from certain racist groups.
