Ive just read a question about how old a muslim girl has to be before she can marry, the age is nine ,,,,and also that muslim men are ok about this,,,and they find it ok to have sex with these children as long as she is in puberty no matter the age which could be from the age of nine,,,,,,,,,,,,
I`m sorry but isnt there a name for this and isnt there people in prison for it,,,,,,
i am totally lost for words can someone explain this to me???

I happened to actually watch a decent Oprah last night that was all about parents ruining their kids by not saying NO and literally spoiling them into ruin. There was this little 3 year old up there going off on her mother, a 9 year old who would hit her mother when she didn't snap to attention and do exactly what she asked when she asked, or objected. I was just lke WOW. I would have got the spanking of a lifetime had I tried that as a kid.

Well, a lot of people here seem to find discipline in any strict form too harsh for kids. How would you handle brats of that caliber? Do you already have them? Do you find it hard to say no to your kids? Or, do you give them any and everyting they want?

Kids in my house earn, they are not just given willy nilly. It's a good system. Punishment comes when you break the rules, simple as that. I beleive in the liberal use of the word "NO", and spankings when needed.

It's not like I was doing anything to her that he didn't do 3 hours earlier. Ok, so I drank the last beer in the fridge, but I don't think that's something you kill somebody over. Mabye a few chest shoves, but I really think he's over-reacting.

thats why if you say son of a 3!&%#
it is a curse word your not talking about someones mother
your talking about God.
Ya know I guess I am just saying you should appreciate the son more because with out the sun, man would not be here today. Everyday the sun gives its life so that man can survive here on earth. If you dont think so, try living without it and see how far you get with no heat, no heat means no plants, no plants means no food for the man or animasl, no animals means no food for man.
So in closing I would like to thank the Divine One for giving his only begotten Sun so that I may live here on Earth and cherish the many wonders created by the Divine Being.

other day but today when put into reverse the van moves back a couple of feet then stalls, thought it might be the gear box but its going into gear easy and not grinding or jumping out of gear,it feels like the brakes are on and appears to be moving to 1 side (brakes etc were put on the rear) is it possible for the brakes to be sticking on? and would that cause the trouble im having? if not any ideas what the problem is and how to solve it. thank you

my 4 year old daughter came home from preeschool with lice and my husband is very mad. I can't get him to understand most kids this age will get them,he thinks because we send her to private school and pay alot of $ we shouldent have to put up with this. how do i get him to understand?

hi last month i woke to find my 11 yr.old quaker had mutilated his self, i was in shock!! i called both vets in my town, no one would see him, not familiar with birds, so i called several out of state vets, they helped me greatly, hes coming around, but not yet 100%what else can i do?? the vets told me to bath him with very mild soap that i got from a health food store, & spray him with diluted aloe juice, that really helped him, what he had done was plucked all his feathers out, till he was bleeding,now hes doing much better, he eats very good, takes his baths, but doesnt make too much noise like he used too, & he doesnt look very healthy, so is there anything else i can do for him, like food or vitamins or any thing, i do give him vitamins in his water, just any help woild be appreciated.........thank you!!!

i have felt isolated and alone most of my life. i am a highly sensitive person who feels everyones emotions around me. i cant keep friendships because people tend to use me or treat me like a ghost. they seem to disregard me or devalue my emotions. no matter how hard i try i cant seem to find people in my life who find me inportant or charished. i started to take lexapro a year ago just to calm the voices (my self talk) around me. i have tried therapy and i also felt it was a waste of time. does anybody else feel this way? are there some good books that you found inspiring. i just feel so alone.
