my 4 year old daughter came home from preeschool with lice and my husband is very mad. I can't get him to understand most kids this age will get them,he thinks because we send her to private school and pay alot of $ we shouldent have to put up with this. how do i get him to understand?

Call your doctor and have him explain to your husband that it doesn't matter what school your daughter goes to, it can happen anywhere.

To be quite honest as a father the school would probably get a pretty good ear full from me although I do understand where you are coming from and you just have to tell him that. Butt let him yell at the school to make a rule that parents must make sure children are well groomed and well bathed when entering school grounds.

even an episode of the nanny the youngest Gracie came home with lice and gave it to Fran its normal they like clean heads it what the doc tar told my mom when my sister had it they are more likely to be found in a clean head then a dirty one.

tell him if he never had lice in school he must have been antisocial.... and if he having a hard time dealing with this you need to have a very good relationship whit your child cause this is just the start........remember being a teenager????? lice is very easy to get rid of.......he should love his family and stop trying to keep up with the jones'.

Next time he gets a cold or the flu, get mad at him and tell him that with a job like his he shouldnt ever get sick whatsoever.
