The standard of driving in this country is getting worse. We all think we are good drivers. should we retake a driving assessment every so often?

I know that everyone's situation is different, and that it depends on maturity levels and financial issues, but what do you think the ideal age is to start having children?

Also, a lot of people say they want to be financially ready before having kids, and they end up waiting a long time.....what if they wait too long? What is everyone's take on this issue?

I asked a question about a step-child situation, and those who answered did not read the question, but just picked-and-chose what they wanted to focus on. I NEED AN ANSWER. HERE ARE THE FACTS: #1: I date a man with what we can most accurately call a STEP DAUGHTER. he did not father the child, and never married the child's mother. THERE IS NO PACKAGE HERE, just a verbal agreement until the child's mother gets a wild hair up her butt and disallows my boyfriend's relationship with the child. He has no legal recourse...he is nothing to the child legally. #2: They have a "visitation" one day a month, because the child's mother does not know that he and I are moving in together, getting engaged, and then married. Because the man I'm seeing has no tie to the child at all, except by permission of the mother, this will more than likely change when she finds out I'm moving in. I'm hesitant to build a relationship with the child as a result of these two facts. How do I explain to him?

I in the process of POSSIBLY taking a new job. Its not a big company so there isnt a lot of paperwork involved and Im afraid of getting screwed over. my husband and i have found ourselves with overwhelming credit card debt....i have looked into debt consolidation programs but my husband says that if you do one of these programs it hurts your credit rating...is that true? does it show up on your credit report? and has anyone participated in one? was it worth it? did it help you? are there any risks??? what company did you go with?

I am 36 weeks preg. and I went to the hospital two nights ago for contractions. They were a lot and they varied in pain. They couldnt get them to stop so they gave me some ambien and something else to relax my muscles. But, that didnt work either, they were still coming, it only made the pain less. They sent me home to get some sleep since they gave me ambien and I was out all day long yesterday and through the night. Last night I woke up having a bad contraction and sweating bad. I took some tylenol and went back to sleep. I woke up this morning and they are starting again. When they did check me the other night they said that I was thinning out and soft but I hadnt dilated yet, but my cervix was in position for labor. I know when they start getting stronger and longer that it could possibly be labor but how can I try and get them to stop? I want to try and keep him in there as long as I can. Has anyone went through this and how long did it take before you actually started labor?

Hi! I'm looking for the website address for No Child Left Behind, specifically the official rules/document. What I'm looking for in that act is the information that states that all special needs children are required to be tested at grade level and to make adequate yearly progress.
