To avoid quibbles about the meaning of words, let me first make the following definitions. 100% Capitalism is an economic system in which all property and means of production are privately owned. 100% Communism is a system in which all property and means of production are owned by no one at all; in other words, they are simply commonly shared. I maintain that neither system is feasible.

Imagine a 100% Capitalist system. Someone owns every stretch of road and every stretch of sidewalk. Every time you enter another "landlord's" stretch of street or sidewalk, you may well have to pay a toll. Is this tenable? Of course not.

And every time you want to take a jog on a running track that currently exists because of park service efforts, you would have to pay something. Your fat friends would be richer than you are.

But if no one owned anything, no one would be motivated to improve the quality of anything. When a street light burns out, who would replace it? No one.

Well, there was a language barrier with the first lady and she didn't understand what I wanted... she basically gave me a layered/feminine mullet!!!!!!

Then the 2nd lady (about 3 weeks later) tried to fix it, but ended up mostly chopping it all off, short (about shoulder length), and cutting too many bangs. :(

I originally wanted "long layers" and "sideswept bangs," but didn't know these terms until later. My hair looks ridiculous. Still "mullet-y," and I have these uneven, choppy bangs (about to my eyebrows) that span too wide from left to right, and start too far back on my head! What can I do??

The Bible, Qur'an, and other classical documents are full of contradictions and factual errors. They were written by human beings in ancient civilizations, expressing the scientific and moral speculations of their day. They do not convey the eternal word of God, but rather the yearnings of ancient tribes based on oral legends and received doctrines; as such, they are hardly relevant to all cultures and times. The Old and New Testaments are not accurate accounts of historical events. The reliability of the Old Testament is highly questionable in the events and personages it depicts; Moses, Abraham, Joseph, etc. are largely uncorroborated by historical evidence. As for the New Testament, scholarship has shown that none of its authors knew Jesus directly. The four Gospels were not written by eyewitnesses but are products of oral tradition and hearsay. There is but flimsy and contradictory evidence for the virgin birth, the healings of Jesus, and the Resurrection.
