Well, there was a language barrier with the first lady and she didn't understand what I wanted... she basically gave me a layered/feminine mullet!!!!!!

Then the 2nd lady (about 3 weeks later) tried to fix it, but ended up mostly chopping it all off, short (about shoulder length), and cutting too many bangs. :(

I originally wanted "long layers" and "sideswept bangs," but didn't know these terms until later. My hair looks ridiculous. Still "mullet-y," and I have these uneven, choppy bangs (about to my eyebrows) that span too wide from left to right, and start too far back on my head! What can I do??

Where did you go? Which country did you go to?
Go to a professional salon where they know English and ask her to put in extensions until your own hair grows out. It really sucks what happened to your hair. I'm sorry!

You have two options.

1. Flannel shirts and Acid washed jeans until it grows out.

2. Cut it really short, invest in wet looking gel and burgundy hair dye, bleach the bangs blonde... and say, "I lost a bet, but I kinda like it." Maintain that it was your choice and you did it on purpose.

There ain't nothing worse than someone with awful hair that chooses to launch into some horror story each time it comes up.

I had this friend in school, he's kinda short and dumpy and had really long unkempt hair. He showed up one day with the mullet to end all mullets, kinda the mullet/paigeboy hybrid. Bad, really really bad. The dude just left it like that until it grew back out. Effectively having terrible hair until college. He started balding, and his dumb stubborn *** didn't cut it. He surpassed Steven Wright in bad hair at the ripe old age of 25, and now literally has the worst hairs I've ever seen.

He doesn't have hair, he has hairs... all of them about a foot and a half long, and they appear more like nerve endings than healthy, shiny strands of protein.

The moral of the story, is don't be that guy. Don't share any similarities with that guy.

Get yourself a cute little A-line and dye it a pretty color. Short is good. Amelie had neat hair.

That sounds aweful...you should have never gone back to the same salon to get it fixed....if its already to short there isnt a lot you can do...but if you have a mullet you just may have to have that part of your hair cut shorter to be the same lenght as the sides...as for the bangs...invest in a headband or some clips until they can grow out

I would personally get someone to cut my hair into a stack to even it out....the bangs will flow better with this hairdo than a shag. you will just have to blow dry it to get it to go in the direction you want it to go

Go to several salons and have your nails done. While being there look at the hairdressers' work, an how they comunicate with clients. Then choose your hairdresser on your observation. Hopefully by the time you choose your new good hairdresser your hair will grow outa bit, so she/he can even it out.... Stick to the hairdresser that knows what you want and can deliver it... Use a lot of different hair styling images - and especially show the image to your hairdresser which shows what you DO NOT WANT.

start a new "crooked bang mullet" trend. Maybe people will catch on u will start something big. I think u should maybe get soem cute hats to cover up ur new do. maybe play with your hair for a while on the weekend at home, style it a million different ways and maybe you'll find something.

You could try hair extensions or you can be creative. Try going to a good salon where they understand what you mean. They may be able to fix it up and give you a bob or short hair. Short hair is in right now. If you dont want to you can try clipping peices up or something.

nicole is right get it stacked or cut into an angeled bob if the sides are long enough go to a salon that is well know for there GOOD work and just a tip if the stylist turns you away from the mirror while just cutting it he or she is not confidant enough to have you watch them which means they are not confidant in there work

uh oh..it's time to start wearing flannel with the sleeves cut off and ROCK THAT MULLET GIRL. If it were me, I would just get it cut the shortest I could handle it and let it grow out, maybe you could do some sort of funky, messy, piecy thingy.
