Wouldn't Jesus approve of us more if we looked at his teachings with open eyes and question the sources. We shouldn't believe out of fear of all this 'going to hell cr ap' or believe just because it is the norm.

In a rather new relationship, during which we see each other 3 to 4 times per week, how long should I wait before asking her to go away for the weekend? I am ready to do that now, but do not want to act too soon. We have been together about six weeks and see each other roughly every other day.

I know that the usual answer for any worries one could have about someone else's life would be "mind your own business". Anyway my sister over feeds her daughter and the kid is three years old and already obese. In the case of the well being and health of a child being involved, should I still just mind my own business and not interfere? I feel sad when I see she cant run like other kids without being tired and having to stop. Would it be advisable that I genty try to talk to my sister and see if I can get her to do something?

I have recently endured a severe heartbreak as a result of my, then girlfriend, splitting up with me. After 1 month she ran off with another fellow from her work. I consider myself somewhat fortunate in that it has happened to me when I have no kids, no joint property, no marriage etc.
However, it still deeply hurts and ever since this traumatic event, I really haven't been myself.
I have tried to approach new girls and chat them up, but I feel I am very low in self-esteem and confidence; I feel as if I have lost my energy to go out on the prowl.
What really scares me now is that I really did trust that girl, and the ironic thing was that she was more into me than I was into her if that makes sense. She was so petrified that she was going to lose me one day and did everything to keep a hold on me.
With all that security I was given, and then the whole thing turning boomerang on me, how can I now look at the next girl, when she speaks such words of emotion, and genuinely believe her

out of the blue, 4 days ago, my partners son called him. now all of a sudden, he wants to meet his dad. ive always known that my partner had kids, but now, they are coming out of the woodwork. i just find it strange that someone would call and want to get to know someone after 20 years.

then to make matters worse, he doesnt drive, so his mother is bringing him up here, which is 5 states away from where they live. i dont have a problem with the son staying with us, but i made it clear from the first phone call that i dont want the mother in my house.

after last night, i am being called jealous because i refuse to let her stay in my house. i told my partner that i think that its being disrespectful to me to even consider having her stay in my home. then i am being called jealous and hateful because i dont want her here. its not a problem with the son. i accepted his oldest daughter without a problem. in fact, i was the one that got them talking again after 15 years.

Im considering going to one of the Aveda Institutes for there cosmetology program. I would like to get some candid opinions from the graduates on there school experience. Since they are so expensive are they really worth the cost. Or are you just paying for the "trendy look" and the name. I also wanted to no if you think african american students would benefit from going here or is it just geared towards white students. Lastly do you feel they provide extensive training. Did you pass your state board exam on the first try. Do you feel it was worth it?
