wlvrne1964, what makes you think I'm a Democrat? If anything, I fancy myself as a Libertarian.

Do not degrade animals in this manner! I think they should both dump their animal mascots. The Elephant is too smart to be the moniker of the GOP and the Donkey...hey, even they are smart enough to do the right thing (like not walk over a steep cliff!) so I do not think that fits Dems either.

I vote for both parties to be represented by nothing. Why do we even need to moniker? We all know that these two parties are full of jackasses so, in reality, the democratic moniker of the donkey is fitting for both sides.

As for those of you who say you are Republicans and that a "liberal" is not willing to debate the issues with you....what do you think, you corner the market on intellectual wisdom? PLEASE! I would RELISH the opportunity to debate with any Republican or Democrat for that matter. I think it would be fun to put them in their place completely! I am do not give my loyalty to ANY of the political parties. I am a STAUNCH Independent! I need no group of self-serving, ignorant, neo-facists telling me what to think and what to do. So please, lets debate. Set it up, pay my way to your place or pay your way to mine.....it matters not to me! Just be sure that the AUDIENCE is full of the common people of the country not the rich and not the beauracratic.

Also, I am going to add a question to this as well (if you will allow me)....Why are we so darned worried about who is democrat and who is republican? Why do we worry about who is liberal and who is conservative? Why the heck do we not worry about solving the issues our country faces REGARDLESS of our political stance? NOW that Is a good question!

Sheep is good.
However, I vote for the Shelte as mascot.

The once-famed party of Lincoln has become a group of yapping pedigreed canines who are good family dogs, but still hump on your leg and sniff your crotch.
And they do obey their master.

I've noticed Democrats present an interesting dichotomy. On one side, they feel free to call others names, throw labels around to describe people of political bent, social affiliations, ethnic groups, et al.
However, as soon as someone might sling a little mud back at them, suddenly their political opponents are "vicious", and "hate-mongering", "name-callers", "stereotypers & labelists".
As I said, interesting, eh?

We of the right have come to expect this level of debate from the American Left.

As Ann Coulter said, "We offer reasonable debate, they respond by throwing pies."

It is indeed sad that the old Republican Party has been taken over by the illiterate, moronic, religious maniacs! For that reason, I may NEVER be able to vote republican again.

democrats should have the proverbial ostrich that sticks its head in the sand and thinks all problems will go away as a result.

note to libs - look up "proverbial" in the dictionary before telling me that ostriches really don't do this.

Political parties are merely an illusion, because THIS secret and evil group has been in control of everything for way too long!...
