do what you want, but only God can judge.

I think you might open up a can of worms by using the word, "judge." And not just in the phrase, "Judge not lest ye be judged." Judgment implies that you've looked at ever scrap of data and from that, formed a cognitive, logical conclusion. Consequently, I think to "examine" and "question" would be better because new information, like the discovery of the gospel of Mary Magdalene, will continue to surface.
I do agree with you on one point. We enjoy the advantages of living in a liberal democracy where freedom of speech and expression are enshrined and law. It gives all of us the ability and freedom to either accept as is, or research further. And the going to hell thing? That will always be present in the argument as long as Christianity holds Judgment Day over everyone's head. I would advise simply accept that it will always be present, deal with it the best you can, and move on to more refreshing and intellectually stimulating argument and debate.

No, our country's freedom was established so that we could practice Christianity outside of Europe's structure. It was not intended so that gays could marry and aetheists could protest.
Matthew 12:32 says:
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Remember to be careful in your actions and words.

Who's judging Jesus? And by the way Jesus is our Lord and Savior, the Son of God, God is the holy father

Well, the words says to "try"/test the spirits. So do what you feel noboby's not asking you to not question stuff. I believe because I want to, because He gave me the desire to seek Him, because I have a relationship with Him. So you do what you HAVE to do, but at the same time, you should do it with an open mind and not so judgmental of others who believe.

Questioning, thinking about it, intepreting it are all ok, JUDGING is not.
Juding says someone got it right or wrong.
Interpreting it says you hold your own personal view as it what it means.
At that point, however, God has the right to judge you for your ability to know right from wrong, good from evil.

Sure,
Looking at the teachings with open eyes is a good thing.
I did it and became Catholic.
Looking at the teachings with a closed heart will do no good though.
Peace and God Bless you!

no need of your or your god's approval for me
it's your chosen holy father you wish to believe in
we are free to choose our religion and live as we see fit in US
at least we think we are, soon Bush and his repugnicans will have removed our bill of rights and now even your own brand of religion will be illegal and you could be rounded up and dissappeared for your faith like Hitler did with Jews
thanks, GW
