My wife and I are the mom and step-dad of a 12-year old girl. Our daughter's bio dad (in Indiana where they're originally from) wants to voluntarily terminate his parental rights because he has court ordered no contact with her due to sexual abuse and he's in bad health and can't afford child support and his increasing medical costs.

We're all in agreement that this is the best thing for our daughter, but the Indiana court will not allow him to voluntarily terminate his rights. I've looked on the internet and I *think* we can fairly easily inititate a step-parent adoption here in Arkansas where we live since the bio dad is in agreement.

I have two concerns: (1) The lack of concrete information available on the internet about the ease of the process worries me, and because we can't afford to hire an attorney right now, I don't want to walk into something I can't handle. (2) I don't know if the Arkansas adoption would override his child support order AND terminate his rights.

Why is premarital sex wrong? I know "The bible says so" but why? Would you buy a house without seeing the inside first? Sex is a very important aspect of any relationship, if its bad or you aren't on the same page, things go downhill real fast. And its not something you can just "pray" away, differing sexual aspects are the nature of humans and in most cases cannot be changed. What do you do if you marry someone who simply cannot satisfy you sexually? What if you can't satisfy him/her either?

i was reading thru a couple of questions regarding this and it really is amazing how many people actually think like that - "leave my country!" what the f***?? u know?? UR COUNTRY?!?! sheeet! Nobody go to school or what? this country is not ur country... this country is as much ur country as the westside of some city belongs to a gang. come on!! everybody knows the whole southwest of the US is Stolen Land! plain and simple... can't believe that this WHOLE country is made up of immigrants regardless of how far up ur fkn family tree u have to climb and people acting like they're indigenous here... gimme a break - mexican people are waaaayyy more indigenous than any (no offense) "white man"... yall stole the land, killed of the indians, made lots of money of the land (gold) and then u have the audacity to whine and complain?!?!?!?

My son just started kendergarden and every morning he wakes up excited to go. His teacher and I agreed to have a system with notes. Green note means good, Yellow note means ok, red means bad. Lately the reds been out weighing the greens and yellows. I have tried everything to keep him on track, time out, taking his toys, no games ect... He got sent to the office yesturday for being disruptive in class i'm just sick of his behavior please help me?

My kitten does not groom himself yet. He's only 2mos old. My 3 year old cat tries to help him out, but he just stays dirty and stinky until I bathe him. Will he learn naturally, or should I be doing something to encourage him? Is he just a stinky, dirty boy??
