don't limit yourself too much.. i guess it depends on how strong ur conviction is. for me, i love dark chocolate, and i bought a bag recently. funny thing is, when i didn't have any in my desk, i wanted chocolate all the time! but with the bag in my desk, i have it sometimes....and i still have a whole bunch left, and i don't even eat it everyday. so sometimes psychologically, just having it there makes me eat it Less, whereas not having any at all makes me want to get to the snack machine and buy CHOCOLATE..haha..good luck. i think with AnYTHING , moderation is key, be it food, candy, soda, alcohol, everything. enjoy what u have, but don't over indulge! :D

This is incredibly tough, especially for women. I am a chocolate lover, so I've experimented with ridding my cravings.

The best way to rid yourself of any habit or craving is to be strong and go cold turkey until the cravings cease. It seems impossible, but a week off of the food you're craving can do wonders!

I went off soda about a month ago and I have stopped craving it. It's a wonderful thing :-)

/the best method is to taper off......decrease from three sodas a day to two.....wait a couple of weeks then decrease again....etc.
when putting sugar in your coffee, taste it first BEFORE you add any sugar, then add less than normal (2 instead of three spoons) you will still be able to taste the difference with two and after a couple of weeks three will taste too sweet.
These techniques will help you cut down, keep at it and you will get there.
