a page of a school yearbook is 8 1/2 in. by 11 in. The left and right margins are 1 in. and 2 1/2 in. respectively. The space between pictures is 1/4 in. How wide can each picture be to fit across the width of the page? i need a verbal model for this problem please.

I have been talking to a guy a while online. I recently met him at a home and garden show where he had an exhibit. I have a beautiful face which he had seen a pic of but I neglected to inform him I'm a large woman. We got along fine but I haven't heard from him since. Let's say in a math test, one had to find the root number of "36." (which is 6)

I just started working at a daycare with one and two year olds. I can pretty much handle the one year olds, but when I have to go to the two year old class it is a nightmare. Most of them don't do what I say at all. I try to put them in time out and they won't go. If I bring them and set them down in time out they get up or start screaming and throwing themselves all over. I know they are testing me because I'm new, but how can I establish my authority and let them know they have to mind me?

I think i am going to join the air force but i dont know what kind of job i want to go into. I was thinking about three different jobs, orthopedic surgen(officer), engenering apprentice(enlisted), or Survival Evasion, Resistance And Escape Operations Apprentice(enlisted). I am intrested in all of the previous with a good amout of knowledge in each.(for me when i go camping i like to go survival[bring a knife and the clothes on your back], so SERE isn't as farfetched as it sounds). if you could give me insight that would be swell. (also, in case you have any coments about airforce, good or bad, please let me know)

A few years ago in one of my college classes we saw a movie about a town in Oregon. This town was near some of the last remaining low elevation old forest left. Some timber company wanted to log it. The movie was about the conflict and eventually the land was protected.

Does anyone know the name of the town or movie?
