...........and the kids dont listen to me. They hit, pinch and fight with each other. They dont respect me as an authority figure and refuse to do what I ask. I feel like I am being trampled on. Can anyone help me figure out how to gain their respect?

Um...they're three year olds. Start by reading up on child development and particularly this age group... (or hopefully this is review for you). What do three year olds like to do? What is typical of this age group? What do they need? These are the types of things you need to understand to be successful with that age group.

Well, first of all you have to not yell or act crazy, just take something away from them and take something away from them that they will act right about. Now, if that doesn't work then you have 2 go 2 plan B. You tlak 2 their parents and you sit with the parent/parents and the child and you let the parent know what they are doing and tell them everything. Give each and every detail that that child has done.
But you might just have to be allittle strict but at the same time be loving and tone the voice down but you can raise your voice when needed 2.
Just continue 2 stay strong and don't give up because sooner or later you will see them change and that you have become a really great teacher. Just pray, and that's all i have 2 say.
Gooooood Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Give candy to the nice ones hehe. Or set up a plan and if there mean they get one less treat or something. Or they get 1 more minute of time out. Good luck and God Bless.

keeping them as busy as possible will cut down on the hitting and fighting ...start planning full days from the time they are there till the time they leave... even if you plan extra stuff...just keep their day full they dont have time to hit anyone or fight
