I have been talking to a guy a while online. I recently met him at a home and garden show where he had an exhibit. I have a beautiful face which he had seen a pic of but I neglected to inform him I'm a large woman. We got along fine but I haven't heard from him since. Should I write him and ask if we could just be friends or is it too late?

Yo toots, there's nothing wrong with being a few kilos overweight. Just casually tell this jerk that the picture of you he's seen was taken from 2 miles away, with no telephoto lense. If he has a problem with this, then he's not worth a Canadian nickel. I personally like em large. Always afraid I'd cut myself on one of them there skinny ones. You know, with dem bones sticking out and everything.

I would write him once and tell him it was a pleasure meeting him, apologize for neglecting to tell him of your size, beg forgiveness and invite him out for a drink to mend fences. If he doesn't respond, don't waste your time and move on. Don't send a "hate mail" to him. He may come back in time.
