the medicines that we take in have to react with many complex chemicals inside our digestive tract , how is it made sure that they don't produce adverse reactions?

Is it possible to guage every reaction that takes place in our digestive tract , given that each person might have a different composition of chemicals?

What do Hispanic girls down south in Mexico like for gifts, But not Money. Hey all,

I am working on a project, and it has to be human-powered. I need your guys opinion on what is the best way to store electricity/energy generated from human-powered bike? I was just thinking using whole bunch of rechargable batteries. Also what about alternatives, like is there a way to split the power generated from the bike in to two channels? Meaning one channel directly goes to the batteries (or other better option to store) and other goes directly into use..

This has to be compact too.

I hate bullies. I've never been bullied because I had good friends that stood up for me. Two of my older sisters were bullied as children though and I believe it has caused life-long damage to them. I love that movie called "The Benchwarmers" - now that's MY kind of team.

There is an ongoing debate between myself and my husband. He insists that the refrigerator is called and should be called an icebox. I say the refrigerator is called, well, a refrigerator. I realize that if someone does say icebox, they are most likely talking about a refrigerator, but technically a refrigerator is a refrigerator, not an icebox. Stores don't have icebox sales; they have refrigerator sales and that iceboxes are a thing of the past - we don't have ice delivered to our fridge to keep the items cold. I would like your two cents - is icebox or refrigerator/fridge??

I have a painfull lump that appeared in the bottom of my jaw this morning. The pain in in my mouth with some tenderness on my cheek. It is always there, and makes swallowing and other things that involve moving my toungue difficult. I'm also making lots of saliva which is difficult to swallow cos my tongue is swollen.
I totally intend to go to the doctors tomorrow as I think I have a fever now. Just wondered if anybody had something similar at one time, and what they had.

The things I had seen on the net are of salivary gland calculi and salivary gland tumours.

This girl I like doesn't seem very interested in me rinnow, but is it possible that I get a chance later?
nowadays i can't get this girl out of my head. I'm a college freshman, and I have known her for only about two weeks, but I feel that she is the kind of girl i like. She was very nice to me at first, but I get a feeling that she's getting cold toward me. Perhaps she is not so interested in me right now, but do some girls eventually feel attracted to guys whom they initially found not so attractive? As of now, I am trying to fully concentrate on my work, even though it will be quite hard because she's such a distraction, because I don't wanna look desperate. I know there are many other girls out there, but I don't wanna give up yet. Once I set a goal, I always try my best to accomplish it. If I patiently wait and treat her politely, will I be able to get her attention? I am not that humorous, but I know I am a sincere guy.

First Question

I was taking birh control pills, and when i got done with one pack i found an old one i had that i had taken 5 pills of already but i figured they would be fine to take. if i had unprotected sex while i was taking the 2nd pack could i get preg?

2nd Question

Me and my b/f had sex everyday for alittle over a week. Durning that time i would wake up every hr it seemed to pee and when i would i would feel alot of pressure and pain. I also had spotting for about 4 days maybe, tender breasts, nausa, and light headed. But then the next week everything seemed to settle down. Now all I have been doing is eating and sleeping like crazy! What are your options? Thanks everyone!
