In order to avoid significantly visable stubblesI have to shave at least 2 times a week. I wonder if this is normal and if I should use a different kind of shaver. I use the cheapie disposable kind that's designed for women. Should I use the men's close shave kind or will that make any difference?

My mom is having a tough time trying to decide what to do for my dad's 60th birthday party. Either a stay at home dinner and have it catered and invite close family and friends, or go out to a very nice restaurant that he really likes with immediate family only, or even rent out a country club and have a buffet type dinner and maybe have a "roast" of my dad. What does everyone think? He is a real-estate lawyer who is very involved in church and Habitat for Humanity and is always willing to help out others (one of those rare lawyers who is willing to do free work if he thinks it is for a good cause). We are hoping to fly his mom down for the occasion from Missouri (his dad died a few years ago) and i'm hoping that we can also get some of his law school buddies to come down as well. Any ideas would be great...please keep this clean as my dad is a great guy. Thanks!

Jeff is making a toy box for his nephew. He will use pine for the square base and sides, but oak for the top. Pine costs $16/m2 and oak costs $20/m2. If the volume of the toy box is to be 1.3 m3, find the amount of oak that is needed if the cost of all the wood for the toy box is to be as low as possible.

People boast about MTV's "Rock the Vote" and the power of the internet to encourage young people (18-30) to get involved in politics and join grassroots campains. Has it made an actual difference or are the younger voters still woefully apathetic?

Hi, I have a great boyfriend, and already one 3 yr old son whom I brought up on my own so far. I just got pregnant and my boyfriend doesn't want me to keep it. I think it will be hard whatever we do, as we are only together 6 months so far, but now we have conceived I feel unable to take its life. he says he can't go through with it, and I already went thru with a pregnancy without any help from the father so know I can't cope if he resents me/leaves us. (I do believe a child is better with two parents, mainly because I get stressed etc then you can take turns and the kid knows someone is always 'ok' and there for them) Do I hope he comes round to the idea of a baby, or do I just have an abortion, and then probably feel so depressed I won't be able to stay with this man? I feel like I'm being put in an impossible position. BTW I'm 33, he's 40 and already had 2 kids years ago. I feel like I'm in a bad dream. I was so happy till he came over and started telling me what I have to do.

You have to make some kind of speech like Neil Armstrong did when he stepped on the moon. What would you say..serious or funny.

The only recipe I have use the whole box and I'd like to find one that uses only half or less. No one in my family reallys eats that much of it and the rest gets moldy.

Here's the situation: my mom doesn't believe I should help my long distance boyfriend come to my home town. I want to help him.
There's bills to be paid and I've been wrecklessly spending my money. I've changed my ways now but suddently my dad is $3,000 in debt. I'm willing to help with a majority of my minimal paychecks but my mom wants me to give all of it. She doesn't want to help me or my dad mostly likely because I want to help my boyfriend.

She doesn't like the fact that I've also started birth control, but I want sex between my boyfriend and I to be worry free with condoms and oral contraceptive.

What should I do? He lives in London, I'm in the US.

As in, religion seems to be people wondering the "why" and then figuring out the "how" [should we proceed from here?]

--> moral philosophy.

What do you think?

I know Christ was killed on the cross which leads me to this reasoning. If my son was killed by a gun, I sure wouldn't want to wear a tiny gun on a necklace. Make sense???
