Then the freak gets the hots for one of the girls living in the house. It was a TV movie that came out in 1974

You must have just started watcing scary movies in 2005 or something. Check out some of the older horror movies, the ones they make these days are candy coated crap.

I only like the Shining. I thought it was really well done, and I ran around saying "redrum" and "Danny's not here right now," for months after seeing it.
Most of the other "scary" movies, I end up either tearing the plot apart [like The Grudge] or laughing at the [like I Know what You Did Last Summer].
