People boast about MTV's "Rock the Vote" and the power of the internet to encourage young people (18-30) to get involved in politics and join grassroots campains. Has it made an actual difference or are the younger voters still woefully apathetic?

Not sure if MTV can get the credit. My teenage son & his friends talk politics all the time. They are concerned about being able to afford college, getting a job, and protecting themselves should they be forced to fight in this war.

They have been very open when they hear adults complain about the state of the nation. First question out of my son's mouth is who was the last person you voted for.

They can't say because they do not vote in local, state, or national elections.

My son is registered to vote and so are his friends of voting age.

I think our youth is more on top of things than our elders.

i need to admit, even as Grand robbery automobile got here out, it develop into the game i have been dreaming of because I performed my first automobile-driving on line interest on a Commodore sixty 4 again in the mid 1980's. That being suggested, there is ton's extra crap to invent. the usually happening individual in historic previous did not invent some thing. maximum folk do no longer have the mind or self assurance to invent issues. maximum folk anticipate that if there develop right into a extra perfect way, some different person might want to have idea-about it. Creativity will continually flourish. human beings write new songs and flicks each day. Refining an idea (automobile, case in point) is often tougher than arising with an idea. fairly some skill is spent on refining what we already have, it quite is high quality. so some distance as practise, inventors have continually been "outdoors the container", many without formal practise in any respect. i'd not difficulty about the academic equipment. Any newborn who's conscious intense wondering will understand that that's a crock, and finally upward push above his contemporaries. yet to respond to your question, boys were having their spines whittled down and sacks shrunken , steadily over the finest 30 years. in the present day, many kids are medicated for the slightest behavioral anomoly. there are a variety of of adult males of their 20's who won't be able to "get it up".

I definately think there are more young people involved in politics. Look at how much crap is going on in the world. Everywhere you turn there is always someone talking about politics. You would have to live in a pretty dark, deep hole not to have anything to do with it. I think it's good that they know whats going on in the world but I also think that it has created alot of pissed off kids. And that's what leads to racism, and all sorts of trouble.

Less involved. Bush isn't trying to be cool like Clinton did.
