This either has an error in formal, standard usage or no error. If it has an error, i have to cross out each error and write the correct usage above it. If it has no error, than i just write C at the end.

The talented actress cried like her heart would break- on cue.

I think you cross out like and replace it with either "as though" or "as if" but i am not sure which one because they both sound correct to me. could you help?

There isn't any where within in hours of where I live, plus as I said none of my freinds know that I am interested in girls, and I am pretty sure that they would not go with me. I'm not to sure they would even be my freind. wrong yes, but we live in a small town and that is all they know. Its not like they go around saying rude things about gay/lesb. but they don't agree with it. any way back to the club thing. If I ended up driving there, It would be hard for me to go in by my self. i wouldn't know where to start, or what to say. I could use some more advice. please

I like this guy in my Spanish class named Jesse and he well I think he's been trying to impress me like today I have a friend named Devon and he is a demon child. So today I was sitting next to Jesse and he taps me on the shoulder and says "yeah I'm a demon too". And on Tuesday he says " My parents gave me wooden swords to practice fighting with". And also today Jesse and Devon were talking about gang fights and Jesse kept looking at me and not Devon. Why do u think that is?

When i had my first drink at age 12 (from my stepdad) i only had like 3 sips of it. It was hard lemonde and it made me terribly sick for about a day in a half. i went to the doctors and they told me that i am in a way very allergic to liqour. Now that i am 19 and i have had chances to drink and have drank a little every once in a while ever since i was 17 despite getting sick every time i drank. it has gotten a little better. My boyfriend is turning 21 soon and he really wants me to drink with him and drink more then a few sips. Is there anything i can do to maybe be able to drink more or drink it at all?

Here is a posting a friend of mine sent me...is this true? This big shot western singer Keith Urban asked all Canadians to stand up before a concert at the Minot State Fair in Minot, ND.
After everyone stood up he asked all the Canadians to leave the stands before he would sing because they were not helping out the fighting with USA troops.

Also Garth Brooks donated 1 million to keep Canadian cattle out of USA.
