This either has an error in formal, standard usage or no error. If it has an error, i have to cross out each error and write the correct usage above it. If it has no error, than i just write C at the end.

The talented actress cried like her heart would break- on cue.

I think you cross out like and replace it with either "as though" or "as if" but i am not sure which one because they both sound correct to me. could you help?

I believe the first sentence is correct, "As if" and "as though" are just formal ways of saying like.

ain't should be crossed out and replaced with isn't is is not.

I vote "as if", but English is my second language, so I´m not absolutely certain of this.
"As though" sounds incorrent to me.

I think it would be as though because if is like it really could. But I'm not for sure

Like is being used as a metaphor. So I would say it is correct.
