I have no experience of mixing or producing music, so need something easy to use. I'll be using it for dance music mainly. And are there programs I can download for free?

I use a stock dell with new soundbaster Live card.
run audicity for software as its free and easy/good
for hardware i run all my music equipment into the Yamaha GM10/2 mixer and the output to the mic port of the sound card on the dell.
For a new computer, if your looking into them, go for the custom dells...they are great.
im looking to get a faster one from them as im going into video recording and editing now and the computer is just a little too slow for Adobe premiere..
