My mother and I had a serious non-arguement filled conversation about me leaving the house. I'm 17.
I'm in a situation and point in my life where I'm almost sure that I'm going to end up leaving again. (I've lived on my own/with other people before). However, this time I want to leave in good terms with her and do it right.

I've concidered getting emancipated, would that really help me out while trying to make it on my own?

Are you able to have anything under your own name once you are emancipated? Some please tell me a little bit about how it is and how it works to actually live as an emancipated teenager.

We have a large pecan tree in our backyard that is at least 150 years old. It dropped nuts once before, but this is the first year the co nditions have been right for fruit to form. I am anxiously awaiting the tree to drop the nuts and I want to be sure I am ready to go pick them up before the animals hoard them!

Recently I went on a volunteer door to door campaign to educate people in low income neighbourhoods on the teachings of Christ. Our key message to these poor souls was in order for them to see pass their poverty they must take Christ into their hearts.

The campaign was not too successful because they kept blaming their poverty on us. I defend that my father has created so many jobs for them and that they should be grateful instead of whining.

They started laughing and made fun of how our holy father was a lazy bast a r d and never held a job either! At that point I lost it and told them that they deserved to be poor and I would pray that their future generation turned out the same. Jesus would want this fate for them had he heard their comments!

Christians please give me advice for teaching the poor. I need to know how to control them so they can all see the light of Christ! Help!

When I got pregnant with my second child, I wanted a little girl badly, and my husband wanted a boy. Whenever I would refer to the baby as "she" he would correct me and say "he" and he kept teasing me about it being a boy. He wasn't able to go with me to my sonagram appointment. When I found out that I was in fact having a girl, I decided to play a mean, but funny trick on him. I went to Wal-Mart and bought a clear frame and little girl scrapbook embellishments to decorate it and put the sonagram picture in it with "DADDY'S GIRL" written on the bottom. I then put all of this in a blue bag with blue tissue paper. When he called me, I told him that the baby wasn't turned the right way and the doctor couldn't tell what it was. When he got home from work, I brought him that bag. His eyes just lit up and he had a huge grin on his face, until he opened the bag and saw all the pink stuff. Suddenly the grin wasn't so big. He certainly got over it though, cause she is daddys girl.

I have been on the birth control pill for 6 yrs now, and for the first4.5 yrs i never had a problem. got my period the same day, same time, everything. then a yr and a half ago, i started spotting half way through. i went to the GYN dr and they switched my pill to something else. i kept having problems... i tried like 7 different pills. nothing worked. i tried going off for a few months and things were just as bad then. i recently started the patch, im in my first month. i bleed at least 4 days out of the weeks that i shouldnt have my period and i get cramps that are very painful, sometimes they are more to one side....they have been going on for a while now. i dont know what else to do, and i feel like the GYn drs i go to dont know what theyre talking about. is there something wrong with me internally? please answer only if you are a dr, a gynecologist or someone who experiences these same things. thanks....i need help :(

ok, so this new Elmo is the hot item. They retailed in stores (now all out of stock) for $39.99. For fun I looked it up on ebay. These suckers are selling for upwards of $100! Is it just me or is this insane? Not just for parents to spend that kind of cash on their kids, but for others taking advantage of people?

Okay I have used limewire to download music for over a year now. Suddenly I am no longer able to connect with limewire. So I tried using morpheus. It will not connect either. I was told to look for a firewall. I looked on the net seaching for a way to find a firewall on my pc. I have only found ways to find it using windows XP. I use windows 2000 on this pc. I have windows XP on my other pc. But when I tried to use limewire with that pc I can not connect either. I have not tried morpheus on there yet. Can someone tell me if something could be wrong with limewire or my pc's or even how to check for a firewall on windows 2000? I am not to good on these things so make it detailed please.
