If I were a dog, I would want an owner like me.
My dog comes first and is always on my mind. If I have to go somewhere, I never come back without a special treat for them and if they go with me, I always let them out to use the potty whenever I stop and they always have their own water bowl and are offered water at every stop. I picked my current job because I could take my dog with me.
And of course, I'd always sleep not only on the bed every night, I'd hog most of the pillow.

Not to sound conceited, but I guess it would be me. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for animals, dogs, cats, birds, whatever would be suitable for me to have as a member of my family. I feed my dog good quality food, provide fresh water and a comfortable place to sleep, walk him every day, make sure his health needs are taken care of. Like I said, just like I would another child. He's a member of the family.

i noticed alot of you mentioned celebrities?? for one thing most of those rich celebrities are constantly on the road and working, so they have very little time to spend with a dog. animals are not conserned with wealth and pompous displays of success. they only ask for the basics, but mostly what they want is your time and affection and money and kindness arent always synonomous. if you think it is you are foolishly wrong. now if i were a dog i would choose me , because i may not be rich, but i am a kind and gentle soul that will love them with all of my heart and that is far better than a big bank account. tht is true for both people and animals. why do you think so many famous rich people get divorced over and over??????????/

my mom...she spoils her dog so badly...
she once paid me $1,000 for a month to babysit her dog, Clementine ...
instructions were:
-scrambled eggs and baco for breakfast
-make sure that there was no spices in dinner, had to feed dog home-cooked meal for dinner and supper
-go to the local school 3 times a week so that Clementine could bark at the kids
-go every other day to Sonic to get Clementine ice cream
-go every other day to get the dog a grape sno cone.
I've always thought that it would be great to come back in my next lifetime as Clementine.

someone loving and caring, who was active enough to take me for walks and throw a frisbee, but also lounge around when I need a nap...no celebrity, just a kind owner

Owen Wilson because he is such a hottie and also because he owns my favorite kind of dog, a Queensland Heeler. I have 2 Queensland Heelers and they are the best dogs ever!

One of those celebrities who takes their dog with them everywhere they go...I would say oprah but she drives me nuts so I'm not sure I could cope with being oprah's pet. Mind you I'd also like to be with other pets as well. Great question by the way - and no, you don't have to pick mine as the best answer...
