A pancake that has fallen on the kitchen floor and you are very hungry for a pancake, but when you pick the pancake up you find the gooey syrup and the creamy butter are like flypaper and so your spongey, yummy pancake is covered in lint, dustmites, a splotch of still-moist mustard from the night before, a broken match, a dirty fingernail, and of course millions of squirming, pulsing bacteria. Also: the pancake now smells like bellybutton, so you puke. But your stomach is empty so you dry heave, and now the pancake is covered in your early morning bile. Anyway, you're so hungry so you eat the pancake.
Man, that is totally gross.

what is the probability of getting the sum between 2 and 9 when 2 die (6 sides) are rolled at the same time?

I assume that that "between 2 and 9" meaning greater than 2 and less than 9 so:

P( 2 and 9) = 26/36 - 1/36

prob. of getting the sum less than 9 - prob. of getting the sum of 2

but it doesn't seem right....? does anyone know how to solve this problem without listing and counting every outcome?

the amount of questions you get on here like does he love me? how do i know if she loves me? he says he loves me but...? and so on...I dont understand this need for reassurance we all have . I am romantic and i believe in the concept of true love but it is so easy to say this and then it goes to pot 3 years later. I have a friend of many years( yes a guy,lol) and i know he loves me and he knows i love him...we have slept together before and will do again but i moved away and even now we call when we think of each other,not when we expect to be called by the other and we know what makes other tick so well and we have told each other that whatever we have and whenever we have it we know its a forever thing between us...we are so close.i have been married twice, once to someone who professed to love me and was jealous and had a violent temper,that love didnt last long, the other again professing to love me but his conditions were too many, power freak!Why do these words mean so much?

He rips them apart throwing the feathers all over the place. Besides that he is a great dog! Now I have taken all the pillows and cushions off the couch but I'm afraid he'll start some place else. He has 3 other dogs to play with and keep him company all day so he can't be bored. I love him to death but he needs to learn to chill out!
