Yah..usually roasted chicken is the norm for Sunday dinner..with all the trimmings..OR pork roast. Personally, I'm having sauteed shrimp with a green salad and some kind of fresh veggie...ummm like my garden squash? Just to change things around a bit.

A sunday roast - a big roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, some other vegetables and gravy. Nothing beats that on a sunday.

Anything that roasts....chicken, pork or beef. Make sure you get drippings from it for gravy. (I like mushrooms in mine.)
Mashed potatoes.
Cooked rutabaga (one of this family's favorites).
Tossed salad.
Freshly made rolls (can come from a can).

I made this on Wednesday, with a pork roast. The VERY BEST sunday dinner is that eaten on Wednesdays!

A big fat pot roast with potatoes and carrots and an onion thrown in the oven in one pan-don't forget to make the gravy-I love that on Sunday.

We're roasting a turkey with garlic, lemon, and herbs. I'm making homemade stuffing (but not in the bird!). Maybe some corn or green beans. Thanksgiving in September!

How about roasted chicken and stuffing or a pot roast with potatoes and carrots. Pork loin with sauerkraut is one of my favorites. What time should we all be over? Do you want us to bring anything?
