You need an internet security programme such as Norton or Zone Alarm. Then you can configure the parental control settings to block certain sites.

most internet security programmes will allow you to block certain websites
however if your problem lies with you wanting to stop your children accessing a "bebo type" site there are hundreds out there just the same

To block Bebo you could add an entry to the HOSTS file to stop the computer trying to access the site.

To do this you need to logon to an Administrator account and navigate to:
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\e t c"
then open the HOSTS file.

Underneath the line
127.0.0.1 localhost

add another line with
0.0.0.0. bebo.com
then save and close the file.

if you use norton and you adsmirate then you should be able to type in a norton section witch site you dont want acces to it will then come up with something like sorry you are not allowed to enter this site pleause contact the admistater
