there is this guy that i like and he flirts and talks to me alot. everytime i look at him he is looking at me and he either looks away or smiles and tries to make me laugh. i think he might like me but i don't know for sure and if i should ask him out. should i wait for him to ask me?

I have asked a few quiestions on here before and the answers were great so can anyone help with this. Im 15 pregnant the dad is 22 I caught him cheating on me 3weeks ago with 2 other girls having another 1 of them pregnant he now wants nothing to do with me and says hes going to take my baby once hes born he hasnt helped prepare for the baby Ive (my parents) bought everything and helped me paint the babys nursey like theyve done it all he hasnt bought anything not even a pacifier. I told my mom if she filed statutory rape charges I would cooperate with her and the courts. I did consent to the sex with him but the state of texas says the age to consent to sex is 17 should I feel guilty for letting my mom press charges? (he's my first love)

I have charter cable internet 5 mbps and nearly everything i download hardly ever goes above 50kbps. My download typically starts at about 120 kbs and then goes down for a long time. What the hell?

Always heard that one has to compromise in life.Is it necessary and desirable to compromise with all ur principles for happiness and peace. If so, the peace we thus get after giving up all our principles that shaped our life till date, is worth it? At some juncture of life, it demands n squeezes us to leave behind the very principle, which served as the foundation of life. Shud we compromise and lose our very entity by giving up that principle, for happiness? Will we have mental satisfaction after doing that? For example, my educaton n upbringing taught me to be truthful and at this point of life, I find myself stuck coz I cud not lie in one of the occassions, which stopped my further movement.If I wud have moved with that lie, do u think my conscience wud have allowed me to be happy with that big compromise???

I am a mix of german, scottish, welsh, native american, and nordic. As most americans are, a mix. The people who take their last name and make themselves irish, german, english, etc...get on my last good nerve. I could walk around and declare I'm scottish due to my last name, but I'm every bit of American, and glad of it. I don't know, anyway just wondering for the people of those countries do us americans get on you last good nerve calling themselves irish, etc?

This year I I have 3 extra in laws and 2 new grandchildren, I have always bought for everyone in my family from kids, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and vice-versa, we are looking for ways to not spend so much money this year, as a family we want to have a good fun Christmas without it being a financial strain on anyone. Any ideas of fun Christmas we still want to have sometype of gift giving session but not as much.

After all, we have a Holocaust Museum in our nation's capitol, for God's sake - and America didn't cause the Holocaust. Why in hell do we allow a museum to be built in honor of the dead (foriegn) ancestors of a sliver of our population to be built, yet have nothing to attest to the true horrors and degradations visited upon the ancestors of our own countrymen? The very people who, with their sweat and suffering, literally built this country? Disgraceful.

And, please, no 'answers' from racists.

There is a debate on the capital punishment. Some say that capital punishment should be there in a country criminl law. Other say capital punishment shold not be there in any country's law. Some countries practce such a punishment; be it under the aproval of the president or the prime minister what ever the top person of the country. There are countries who never practce capital punishment.

What is your position and why?

My sister had a good relationship with her boy friend for 7 yrs since she turned 21. The guy was so nice to my sister and never cheating on my sister even though she cheated on him once. They
also lived together for around 1yr at his house. she said several times while living with him, he was so nice to her.(After my parents realized they were living together, they made her live separately) Anyway they had a great relationship and the people around them thougt they would last for a marriage. however, 6 months ago, they broke up.... actually, my sister just said "bye" to him over phone and came to my family immediately from Texas to L.A.. She said that she and her boy friend had never problem.. just felt no chemistry between them, feeling like he was just a good friend. I've never seen her crying or looking sad since she came to my house. It really frustrated me who had a 2yr relatinoship with a girl 2yr ago and still feel heartbroken. Is it normal?
