The quality of the meat. It should be a thick burger, lean and not fatty. Good quality American cheese, fresh lettuce and ripe tomatoe and some pickle slices. The bun should be thick and fresh. The fast food places are not the best for cheeseburgers. Those thin patties are not good.

The bigger and nastier the better. Big a s s hunk of meat. Not cheap meat, either. Slather it with mayo, touch of mustard. If the bun's toasted, that's a plus, too. Bacon, lettuce, onion, and lots of ketchup. And a side of fries.

Do you mean Cheeseburger? If so then its the cheese and maybe some bacon. Then you wash it down with a nice thick malt milkshake. Yummy

Well, it either has to be the cheese or the burger! Oh wait, maybe it is the bread! I don't know. The sauce could play a role as well.
