Can I recommend an alternative to Word 2007? Try instead the OpenOffice suite from http://openoffice.org/ which offers basicly the same features, plus a much more powerful compatibility with even Microsoft's own earlier products than does Word 2007!

As a bonus, OpenOffice is awarding prize money for new clipart and useful templates, which any skilled user of Word is familiar with.

Most of the world is becoming paranoid about proprietary formats, and Microsoft is not cooperating, preferring "vendor lock-in" over convenience. The OpenOffice program IS compatible with the new, ISO-approved OASIS open document format, as well as all Microsoft formats - and Word 2007 IS NOT.

Good luck!
