I have had a cold or sinus cold for about 2 weeks now and for the last 7 days I get this pain in the left side towards the front of my head. It's not to bad at times but it gets annoying. Can someone maybe give me a honest answer and not just guess please...Thank You...

I am almost certain that you have a brain tumor. Better have it removed right away. I know a guy who knows a doctor in Mexico that would give you a good deal on it. Let me know, Ok?

the only way you won't get a "guess" as an answer is if a doctor answers your question--even then, without seeing you, it still might be a guess. All i can say is, i have pain on the left side of my head when i have sinus problems ( a sinus headache) and also when the pain is towards the front, for me it is tension. I occasionally get cluster or migraine headaches (always on the left side) The reason I think you should check with a doctor is a young woman i worked with complained of a really bad headache, and that night she suffered a serious stroke and has never been the same. (really really sad because she was so smart and such a nice, helpful person..she never came back, and since i moved i don't know how she is doing.)
But, if you take dayquil during the day and it eases the pain, it could be sinus pressure causing it. At night, you might try an antihistimine like benadryl (it will also help you sleep) but if it is lasting this long, you should go to the doctor. good luck

I assume you are asking what is causing the pain (re-read your question)

In all likelihood your sinuses are blocked and probably infected. A trip to the doctor should help and you might have to take a course of antibiotics if the doctor feels that there is an infection. It can be very painful and as you said, annoying

You should try motrin, or some anti-inflammatory as the pressure may be causing this to hurt. If it doesn't improve or gets worse, call your doc.
