What about the last hour of the show?

OK, I am prepared for people to make fun of me, but....here goes. I live in Alaska. The state is starting an Arena Football League. I asked a few people just what that was. Is it like semi-pro or what? These people just rolled their eyes and said I must not be too into football. I have not been, but Alaska has never had any type of team like that. I bought a T-shirt at the fair (a team t-shirt) and I want to be supportive of our first team. I found a lot of sites on Arena Football but nothing giving me a definition.

I have used vinegar in a jar which helps but I still have them--my house is very clean and I don't leave food out, I got the gnats when I let bananas get too ripe. Now I can't get rid of them.

"the link between the burning of fossil fuels and global warming is a myth";

global warming is "a problem that actually doesn't exist";

and

"climate change is an entirely natural phenomenon, nothing to do with the burning of fossil fuels".

Can we ever know how much damage these articles and interviews have caused? He is quoted by Exxon executives to suggest that "if even an environmentalist like David Bellamy says global warming isn't happening, then it can't be true"?

The harm done to environmentalism by David Bellamy is incalculable. Yet he is Yahoo Featured Questioner today on saving the planet!

He lost it way back in the 80s. Too many Newts.

Shes 4 and she cries at the drop of a hat. You look at her funny she cries. She dont get her way she cries.Maybe its just a girl thing cause my 8 year old daughter does the same thing. Just seems that girls are harder to raise than boys because of their emotional devlopment.Its like you dont want to do the wrong thing because you dont want them scared for life but yet just having to deal with every day issues seems very challenging.

Alright so it seems the general consensus is that the big crunch theory is made possible by the effects of gravity slowing down the expansion of the universe and eventually reversing it. Unless I'm much mistaken this would require the entire mass of the universe to be evenly distrubuted at least on average over the entire area of the expanding sphere, because the vector of the combined gravitational forces would all have to point towards the center of the universe. Is this possible with the way matter has obviously clumped together (yes also by gravity) to form galaxies and what not?

I run a few times a week. I bike. I use cotton t-shirts most of the time. I've wanted to try synthetic ones because they're marketed so heavily. First thing was sticker shock, they're easily 3-4 times more expensive. Then I noticed that while they didn't get wet (of course, they're plastic) they weren't comfortable to wear. And the minute you stop running you start smelling horrible which does not happen with cotton. So overall cotton winds hands down for me.

So, why are so many people happy to buy those branded, very expensive, synthetic fibre t-shirts, despite all the problems?
