well if you work everywhere around the clock like i do, then maybe
but i think i would go for a more local dating service, or photo adds,or simply take vacations to meet people especially in other locations. the phone dating business is strange and along with the phone you get the phone weirdos and then the added sex freaks also.
grab a part time job somewhere with lots of public exposure even a few hours a week might solve the dating problem ya know!

In the US there are about 100 million single people. Latest estimates are that about 40 million have used or are using the internet to date. So its pretty common in today's day and age.
Some people think it still has the stigma of the old personals ads in the paper. But really its just another tool you can use to meet people. In a lot of way its better than meeting people in bars and clubs. You get to find out a little about them first and can correspond from a distance.
Give it a try, most services aren't very expensive. If you don't like it you can always cancel.

I don't really trust phone or net for dating maybe friends but i would rather just meet in the real world and you know first hand what you are getting.

I think that in this time and age, one has to be extremely careful when entering that world of uncertainty and "unknown territory". There are guys out there who can put up this facade and go on these on line dating service to take advantage of women.
I prefer the old fashion way of meeting a guy, getting to know him and start dating and courting.... and you know.
But using a dating service is no way to find the man of your dreams.

Bad idea. You tend to meet people who are poorly socially adjusted.
