If the WT Org. is a prophet of God, why has it made false prophecies?
1897 "Our Lord, the appointed King, is now present, since October 1874," Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 4, page 621.
1899 "...the ‘battle of the great day of God Almighty' (Revelation 16:14), which will end in A.D. 1914 with the complete overthrow of earth's present rulership, is already commenced." The Time Is at Hand, page 101 (1908 edition).
1918 "Therefore we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection." Millions Now Living Will Never Die, page 89.
1922 "The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the Scriptures than 1914." The Watchtower 9/1/22, page 262.
1923 "Our thought is, that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge." The Watchtower, page 106 4/1/23.
1925 "The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year." The Watchtower, 1/1/25, page. 3.
1931 "There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah's faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time...and they also learned to quit fixing dates." Vindication, page 338.
1941 "Receiving the gift, the marching children clasped it to them, not a toy or plaything for idle pleasure, but the Lord's provided instrument for most effective work in the remaining months before Armageddon." The Watchtower, 9/15/41, page 288.
1968 "True, there have been those in times past who predicted an ‘end to the world', even announcing a specific date. Yet nothing happened. The ‘end' did not come. They were guilty of false prophesying. Why? What was missing?.. Missing from such people were God's truths and evidence that he was using and guiding them." Awake, 10/8/68.
1968 "Why are you looking forward to 1975?" The Watchtower, 8/15/68, page 494.

From my research I have discovered that the Consumer Reports bottom line price for a 2007 Toyota Camry LE (automatic) is approximately $18, 756. This takes into account dealer incentives such as manufacturer rebates and "holdbacks." Knowing that this price also has a built in 3%-5% profit margin, how much more above the CR bottom line price should a buyer offer without being taken to the cleaners? I realize that this vehicle is in high demand also which does not help the buyer when negotiating a reasonable price--just looking for a little bit of help to secure a deal. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I am currently living in the U.K. man, this place sux. The plumbing in England is useless, you cant flush the damn toilet without the right touch and your showers have no pressure what-so-ever. Your stores close at 5 p.m. and your bars close around 6. You serve warm beers, people don't know what a clothes dryer is, you don't have sweet baby ray's bbq sauce (WTF!?) All the boys here have highlighted spiked hair, tight pants, eyeliner, and green day hoodies. Your accent is total ****, not like the ones you hear on tv that are from London. Your teeth are horrid. Your cars are the ultra suck, you can't drive trucks or suvs there because your roads aren't wide enough to hold them. The weather is overcast every damn day, you don't see the sun at all. America was founded by people who hated the eurotrash way, and strived to be better so that's why America IS better. England is much older than America is, but America still dominates you. I"m moving back to America as soon as I'm done here.

A Newfoundlander went hunting one day in Ontario and bagged three ducks. He put them in the bed of his pickup truck and was about to drive home when he was confronted by an ornery game warden who didn't like Newfies.

The game warden ordered the Newfie to show his hunting license, and the Newfie pulled out a valid Ontario hunting license.

The game warden looked at the license, then reached over and picked up one of the ducks, sniffed its butt, and said, "This duck ain't from Ontario. This is a Quebec duck. You got a Quebec huntin' license, boy?"

The Newfie reached into his wallet and produced a Quebec hunting license.

The game warden looked at it, then reached over and grabbed the second duck, sniffed its butt, and said "This ain't no Quebec duck. This duck's from Manitoba. You got a Manitoba license?" The Newfie reached into his wallet and produced a Manitoba hunting license.

The warden then reached over and picked up the third duck, sniffed its butt, and said, "This ain't no Manitoba duck. This here duck's from Nova Scotia. You got a Nova Scotia huntin' license?" Again the newfie reached into his wallet and brought out a Nova Scotia hunting license

The game warden was extremely frustrated at this point, and he yelled at the Newfie, "Just where the hell are you from?"

The Newfie turned around, bent over, dropped his pants, and said, "You tell me -- you're the expert!"

women who are demure and act like ladies? Or do you like women who have a bit of both and are spontaneous with different personalities? Of the preference you chose, is that the way you mother acted as well? I hear that men like women who remind them of their mothers and it seems true. My nephew is dating a girl who is a slut and his mom was a total slut as well (she cheated on my brother).

I wax or epilate.
They aren't red or infected in anyway that I can tell.
They grow in the natural direction but under my skin.
I have lots of them.
Most are fairly deep and can't be taken out with tweezers without making my skin bleed (so not an option).
Happens mostly on my legs, occasionally on my bikini area and never on my underarms but I use the same method for all of them.

My partner and I had 2 cats & 2 dogs. The cats we had were from the same mother (2 different litters), the 1st, a female, the 2nd a male, when we got the male, we think he thought the female was his mother, he liked her, but she didn't like him. She recently died. He obviously misses her. My ? is should we get another kitten (or cat) to replace her for him? How would he react to a new kitten, (or even a full grown cat) in the house. He is fixed, so I'm thinking it might be OK. The fact that we have two dogs makes me think he may be feeling outnumbered, although he is pretty brave with them most the time. He was always very protective of our female cat. He always stood up to the dogs(I should add both cats were declawed) if he felt they were threatening her, even though they thought they were just playing. So what do you think, should we try replacing her?

I know this is in the wrong category but I am aiming towards space and since some of you live in homes and have kids with a lot of stuff that's why I am asking here.

Is a 900 square foot home big enough for a 2 adults and 2 kids age 2 and 10 and 1 dog and 1 cat to live in comfortably. I know that a 758 square foot apartment is to small I know the difference in size but kids have a lot of crap to deal with.
