Even in marriage it is always good to respect ones privacy. Going thru cell phones, pagers, notes, drawers etc.. only proves one thing. INSECURITY! If you suspect that your lover or spouse is doing the wrong thing, then believe me it will come and play out on it's own. I despise snooping and fumbling thur things, especially when I show no reason for it to be done. Now would it be okay if they went thru your things.?

Always put yourself in the other persons position when you have these thoughts, questions, and urges , and then reverse the scenerio.

Respect your loved ones privacy and respect your loved one in general and you will get the same in return.

No, if you can't ask the person about what you are suspecting them of...then you shouldn't be with them in the first place. This is not only a trust issue but it is also an insecurity within yourself that you need to take care of. That is invasion of privacy and can also be construed as a violation of that person's first amendment rights.

Yes......and some other suggestions: Cell Phone, Wallet, Closet, Car, Trash, Dirty Clothes, Garage. Unfortunately, very few people in this world are honest to their domestic partner. They find it easier to be honest with total strangers than those close to them. Lies seem the path of least resistance.

If you have to go through their phone then apparantly you have reason to not trust them. If this is the case then you need to sit down and have a heart to heart because a relationship without trust is only going to be a disaster.

would you want them going thru your cell phone? invasion of privacy is invasion of privacy, and trust is trust. If you can't trust your lover then you need to find a new one.

I personally do not think you should, respect their privacy and don't go through any of their things, if you are suspicious, maybe you shouldn't be together...this leads to jealousy and this is not good
