I was rather on the neutral side re the Israeli-Lebanon war.I like to know as much as possible about BOTH sides in conflicts such as this one. But I'm really kind of apprehensive about Israel. Its coming out now that she used phosphorus shells and cluster bombs in Lebanon. And that she used 90% of them when she learned the US ceasefire Resolution.was about to be adopted by the Security Council.
IDF soldiers say they fired some l,800 cluster rockets on Lebanon and they contained l.2 million cluster bombs.
Those bombs struck 350 locations in S. Lebanon. The whole region has been contaminated with more than 100,000 unexploded bomblets, scattered by these cluster bombs.Curiously enough,the US has been supplying Israel cluster bombs since the seventies.

What in the world else is going to come out about this war..
Israel is our FRIEND.
What happens if she becomes our enemy.

I have this friend who had a girlfriend. He broke up with his girlfriend because they were fighting too often. We talked a lot after that and ended up liking each other. The problem is he lives about 3 hours away from me. We got together one day and ended up making our get together into a date. We flirted the whole day and ended up making out. He felt kind of bad because he didn't want his ex to find out that he did that so soon after they broke up. He still liked her and didn't want her to get hurt. We continued to talk a lot on the phone afterwards. A few weeks ago, he got back together with his ex. It was unexpected and I was really hurt. It made sense though since she lives near him. Since then I know they have started to have some problems again. I don't know what to do because I want him to be happy, but I still really like him. I can't get over him even if he did lead me on. What should I do???

I have liberal arts B.A. (diplomacy & foreign affairs) and have been out of college for about 8 years now.
Most of my experience has been in sales, which I absolutely hate, but money is important to me - I want to be able to afford to do a lot of things in my life. I just find sales very boring - once you find a formula its all just repetition. Also, in the business world you are competing against people who are often disingenous at best, so you are at an inherent disadvantage if you are completely honest, which I really need to be.

An other option is grad school and it is something that I am considering right now, but nothing seems like an obvious choice, especially when I consider the financial rewards - it seems that the more the appeal, the less they pay.

Generally speaking, my interests lie in problem solving, international travel, researching, and creativity.

Any ideas?

With globalisation doing its magic on developing countries like India...every thing is changing...the culture which has been prevalent for centuries is changing..with call centres and BPOs flourishing the standard of living is also going up...with all these our definition of family is also changing..today family does not mean parents and children..it may also mean two strangers living together....and after some months or years..if they start liking each other they may get married..if not then go in different directions...my question is..is this kind of relationship good for a country like India which has given the whole world the presise definition of how a family has to be? Why are we blindly following the western culture?Isnt the ancient Indian culture at stake?Isnt this not giving way to crime like the murder of Tania who was a call center employee in Bangalore???What do u think..I would like serious answers from Indian folks

My female Cocker Spaniel pup is 9 months old and just got scratched in the eye by our cat!! Within 5 minutes her all was all bloodshot and shut. If I open it, it looks like a scratch/cut on the eyeball itself, what can i do tonight to help her? It no longer seems to bother her, other than looking awful. We have some left over meds from an eye infection...should i use these??? Helpp.

sometimes when hes woken up like by me dropping something hell do somthing hes not supposed to like go in the babys room...its kinda scary like one night i was at the computer and i dropped the ouse and he woke up and looked wideeyed and started blinking really fast and went into the babys room...i had to tell him not to go in there and he left the room and i ask him why he went in there he said because a pencil was in there...and another time he woke up and just went downstairs...i let him go and he came right back up its really weird and i know its not sleep walking because i remember a sleep walkin incident with me and i went downstairs eyes closd to the fridge and took out some water and left it there...NO LIE and the next morning i remembered doing the whole thing
