O.K. so athesist think you are just gone when you die. Agnostics don't know what to believe. Why not take the insurance plan? I am trying to live my life as a Christian. earlier this morning i asked under the heading JUST A SIMPLE QUESTION, about the virtues of god v the devil and who was more evil, at a glance it has recieved a good response and healthy debate, please feel free to add your views if you hav"nt already done so ....... here then is another one to debate, why do people believe in ghosts or spirits of the dead ( i dont include poltegeists in this as i believe it is an undiscovered energy) my arguement is that i believe anyone who reckons they have seen a ghost is either exaggerating the truth or totally mistaken, there has yet to date been no real significant proof either in the many programmes on the subject or clear photographic evidence. also i have seen good evidence that psychic mediums and spiritualists work with trickery rather than souls of the deceased.i think ghosts were invented originally to keep people away from certain places to scare them off like an early form of security device,do you agree disagree or what do you think

Why do christians get picked on so much on this web site. Every religion has it confusing points, points that people can interpret differently. You also seem to think that we have to be perfect, and then subject us to ridicule when one or more of us actually act human. NOBODY is perfect! Go pick on an other religion for a while

After the blasts, the injured had to be carried to Dhule & Nasik cos the city lacks a proper hospital.It was shameful when the ppl(mostly Muslims) who lost their near & dear ones in the blast refused the financial aid given to them by the govt cos due to govt apathy they dont have basic infrastructure.Isnt this sad for a city that is famous for its powerlooms & has been a target for similar attacks?Inspite of this, the Hindus & Muslims there live in perfect harmony.

Ihave been married for a yr. now, my hubby is in the military so we just started tryin 6 mos ago. At the beginning of this yr, i was on the pill to regulate my period and got off of it 3 mos. later. My period came every month but like every 18-28-30-37and 40 days...I charted every cycle to figure out when i was ovulating and used ovulation kits also and still no pregnancy...My last period was Aug. 7 and I was supposedly fertile either the wk of Aug. 13-19 or Aug. 27-31 because i charted a 37 day cycle from my last period....We have had sex every other day for the whole month of Aug....I have been having mild pain sparatically in my lower abdomen for the past 2 weeks as if my period is about to come on and one sharp pain last week. Ive been takin prenatal vitamins, and getting the worse headaches sometimes, but my breasts arent sore and im hardly nauseated, just very grouchy to my huband...Could I be pregnant with little or no symptoms from my story???

Your answer was wrong if you live in the UK your wife is entitled to some sort of disability try again!!!!!! I know I have spend hours in the bloody benefit office. I have paid my national insurance to our economy and I presume the both of you two have, you are entitled people like your wife needs it and their are people who don't get it that pisses me off contact me!!

Today marks the date of the worst terrorist attack in history.
Apparently, it was all orchestrated by George Bush to manufacture a reason to steal oil - or something along those lines.
To listen to that drivel has gone from vaguely amusing, to distracting to downright scary.
There are people in this country so determined to find a reason to hate Bush and his government, that there are actually websites that have sprung up, detailing 'proof' of this paranoid fantasy.
I can 'prove' fairies exist on Mars if you like.
What's worse is that there are actually professional scholars, people who should know better, and some of whom who are teaching children, that all this is fact and should be taken seriously.
That is irresponsible, cynical and should not be allowed - parents are paying for their kids to be educated, not intoctrinated with political equivalents of the Tooth Fairy.
To those of us living in reality, let's remember this terrible day the way it actually happened.
