I notice there's a lot of weeds on my lawn. Just curious if it's better to spray my lawn with weed killer before the winter or wait till after winter to do it.

If you fertilize your lawn with a winteizer fertilizer, most of them have a herbicide right in it.Do it in the late fall after your last cutting. This way the perennial weeds won't have as good of chance of establishing a strrong root system because the herbicide will have started working as the melting snow or any moisture take it into the ground the following spring Good Luck !

You should wait until the spring because the weeds will help to insulate your grass over the winter especially if you get alot of snow...it helps to protect your grass!!!!!!!!!
