There are thousands of names out there. My advice would be to do a search on "baby names". Or just click the source listed below!

Congratulations. I would suggest that you do a websearch as there are many sites available that list not only names but the meaning of them.

Do take your time in deciding - sometimes it is known that you decide upon a name and when the baby is born something completely different comes into your head and that is it or the name that you choose doesn't fit his personality.

Remember the name is for life. Don't be hasty in making a decision and don't be swayed by others/fashion or trends, call you son what you want him to be called. Would love to know what you decide in the end. Good Luck.

There are loads of good books which not only give names but their meanings too. Why not get one from the library and then while away the next 6 months browsing for a suitable name (and meaning!) Remember that names go in and out of fashion and you may ,like a trendy name now, but in a few years time, that name may be really out of fashion, so choose wisely! Classic names are the best in my opinion as they don't date. Above all enjoy every minute and good luck!

I've always liked the name Tobias, so I could shorten it to Toby. Or Tyrone, which shortens to Ty. It all depends what suits your surname too.

Have a laugh at this. A couple my brother's missus knows were having a hard time picking a name. All they could think of was Hercules. What I found funny was the surname, Davies.

Theres a good website for baby names called 123 Baby Names. They have loads of all nationalities. Maybe thats worth a look for you.

Congratulations though. Good Luck.

Kimberley - names are really difficult things and loads of people will give you ideas that they like. I could real off loads (and will at the end of the answer) but I think the main thing is to think about what people could change the name to as your little boy grows up and is he going to get teased or called something horrid? also think about what initials he will have as you may pick fabulous names but when he has to write his intitials it spells something strange. a name which sounds popular now may not be in a few years and also a really unusual name could commit him to a life time of having to spell his name for everyone. I can tell you that that gets boring after a while. having said that it's your choice but here's a list of my favourites - Ryan, Cameron, James, Jacob, Sean, Ian, Daniel, Benjamin, Jonathan, Simon. Hope that helps.

Hi! I really like the names Kendal and Mitchell. It all depends on what the surname is though. You have to put the 2 names together and see if they sound good.

My son is called Bruce. It's uncommon but not 'out there', can't be shortened and is cute enough for a babe but manly enough for a grown lad. My son has never been teased because of the name either and he thinks it's cool that he shares his name with superhero Batman! lol Anyway, I think that it's a good solid name for a boy.

3 of my 4 chikldren werent named till they were 2 weeks old because we couldnt think of any so we waited to see what they looked and and what they suited.

Middle names we took from members of the family. My advice is dont try to make it interesting by changing the spelling otherwise they hve to go around correcting people all their life!! I did this one with my first child!!! I soon learnt!
