I am not religious but for some reason this question has been coming back to me over and over. If it really means what it sounds like it means, a pastor or priest or church leader preforming a blessing on children's backpacks...do those backpacks really have anything different about them from any other backpack? If it really is different because it's been blessed if the child loses it and someone else picks it up does the blessing continue. Is this just an action to help parents deal with the separation and anxiety of their children going back to school? Why would childrens backpacks be blessed?

Tom is faking the birth of Suri,he's a freak to be obsessed with Scientology,He is a women-dominater,he seeks attention-------this is all that people say about him.Honestly,don't you think we are being a bit too harsh,laughing every time his relation breaks,calling him a jerk for loving what he loves,Scientology? Accusing him that his first biological child is fake??I mean,even he is a human being.We don't have to worship him,why don't we just leave him alone?? the idea of a supreme god ruling and having control over human life sounds a fairy tale to me

god giving men messages (no messages to women) sounds absurd to me

angels who fly carrying these heavenly messages from heaven to earth and back to heaven can be read only in fairy tales

supernatural events and life forms to me sounds absurd

to believe that korans , bibles and toras and gitas were written by gods and their prophets make me laugh

I finally found love at 44. But they don't approve. He is out of my socio and educational class so to speak. It doesn't bother me but boy does it bother them. I have my masters and he didn't graduate high school. He is had been married twice. They have even said they would write me out of their will. My 3 kids will totally ignore me if I stay with him.
